I am always hauling something in my truck. These are great straps. The hooks hold better on my strap system that in my truck than a traditional hook does. I think these are a great value to add to anyones truck toolbox.

These are strong and durable straps that hold up really good. First off they do come unstrapped so you’ll have to feed it through the ratchet part first. Then it’s easy to just strap and tie down anything. I used it not one for transporting but also to work on my motorcycle. I was able to strap it down and it tightened really good. Also I was able to unlock it with the easiest unlock button on ratchet straps ever. It’s simple just push the button and slide up and the strap comes loose. It held up a 400lb bike like nothing.

The catch rings have a spring loaded gate block to keep the connection from detaching during setup. This gate block is not load supportive, merely there to keep the connection in place.Each of the connection points have loop back and extensive stitching to make sure the straps will remain properly attached when placed under load.The ratchet handle has a nice, slip resistant cover. The ratchet system threads and functions as expected. It even includes a draw string bag to keep things together between uses.

These are definitely heavy duty, thick, and strong. They were easy to use, and the design is pretty standard and straightforward. They held everything down in high winds, so very functional and a good value for the money. Recommend, I hope that this helps.

Okay, so maybe it's because I'm a girl and never put brand new ratchet straps together before, but these were very confusing to put together correctly. They come not connected and without instructions explaining how to feed the rope through the ratchet correctly, so I did it wrong. When I tried to correct it, it was near impossible to undo them without destroying the rope. BUT... this may be because of user error and not because they're a bad product or don't work. Instructions of how to feed the material into the other side would have been VERY helpful. Once my husband corrected them, they worked really well. And believe me, there is a TON of rope to secure large sized objects.

OMG I love this ratchet set! Ok. Not only are these different because they have that safety clasp on the hooks, but they also have an extra loop to hook either hooks on. What a peace of mind to know that once it's tightened on, it won't come loose or won't rattle off from agitation when traveling. Then on top of that, they give you a bag to carry it all in. How convenient! I used it to strap down a mattress on a van. It worked wonderfully. Used all four and it was more than secure. Definitely recommend.

I loaded my pull behind trailer down with products and used these ratchets tie down straps to lock them down. None of the products moved. These tie down straps worked perfectly, and they come in a handy tote bag. I would purchase again. Good quality product.
