I used this arm strap to house not a nano iPod but to house a Tile. I placed it on my child's arm and there, I can find where and summon her on the playground at anytime! Super fast shipping with this seller!

Good material, although I didn't find it practical as the buttons get covered and becomes hard to skip songs and control the volume. Also doesn't really work with the Nike+ sensor as there's no space for the receiver.

I really can't complain too much because I got this at a big box store on clearance for $2.00.Pros:* it seems to be made out of pretty sturdy materials and the stitching is good. Whether it will hold up over time remains to be seen.* Adjustable size. There are two slits in the band (as you can see in the product picture). The one closer to the iPod will likely cater to thinner arms while the further one will accommodate larger (though not huge) arms.* it has a clip that you can wrap your headphone wire around so it's not bouncing all over and pulling your ear buds out when you run.* There is a slot for a single (regular size) key underneath. Which is good. I hate holding a door key when I run.Cons:* There is no hole for the headphone jack. I had to turn my nano sideways so i could put the jack in.* It's a little difficult to access the Nano's buttons. You have to push them through the plastic which is not a huge deal. Having open access would directly expose the Nano to sweat and moisture.Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I'd probably still be happy if I had paid $10 for it. It's by no means perfect but it's on par with the Belkin I use for my iPod Touch.

Had to order another armband because the one I had previously kept tearing so I needed something more sturdier, which this one was. Problem was, once you have the nano on the armband it is extremely difficult to access the controls (i.e. volume, power) as well as the headphone jack. Have had to order a different brand because this is much too cumbersome to use.... ugh

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Do not buy this item. It is ill suited for the new iPod nano. There is no way to access the control buttons once you place the iPod in the armband. That means no easy way to control volume, on and off, etc. I don't understand why anyone would design and sell an accessory product that inhibits the function of the product it is supposed to accompany. The only thing that is good about the armband is that it is made out of what seems like quality materials. Additionally, I am a very thin woman but I am still textbook athletically built (meaning that my upper arms are somewhat larger than the average slim ladies), at it's tightest it still didn't feel that secure. Both form and function are lacking in this armband. I suggest the Belkin model. I purchased this armband thinking that the protective casing was a good thing, it was not. Get the Belkin and a case/screen protector.
