This is a nice sturdy product and it was easy to set up. Took me about 15 min. Comes with a little mallet to wack the slats together. Good deal. Recommended.

It is cute, and functional for my needs. But be careful.Pros: Inexpensive, looks good, easy to assemble.Cons: Cheap, Not super strong, slivers.It works well for succulents and their lightweight gritty soil. I would hesitate to put anything big/heavy. The wood is NOT finished. The stain rubs off on your hands and there are splinters (I got stuck).

This item does come in a bunch of little pieces that you have to put together but it only took about 10 minutes to build and it was fun. It holds many plants and I'm surprised how sturdy the thing is for being put together by plastic pieces. I added the grow lights and love the slats becuse it allows light to pass through to plants underneath. I'm a little limited on using the bottom shelf because I have two kitty cats that would also enjoy doing a little gardening and we can't have that (I will move the amaryllis as soon as it hits the shelf). I might use storage cubes for the bottom row for plants storage (not sure if it would tip over if only top heavy for one thing and I need to keep the kitty cats safe). You are able to make different combinations when you build it.A few slats were not entirely smooth so you have to be careful to not get a splinter. The shelf also came with cute mini garden tools and a pair of gloves.

I normally hesitated buying the shelf worrying that space might not work out well. After seeing there are options for different combinations, I bought right away. And it worked out so well. I use the option 3. in the winter, I keep both by the patio windows so the plants can get more light and I don’t need to access the door. In the summer, I will move one shelf to the side for the plants that don’t need too strong sunlight. And I can even move one to my deck.The assembly is straightforward, it came with gloves and a hammer which are very handy. The little set of tools and hook for hanging plants are all beyond my expectation.The color looks more natural and works great for plants. Overall it’s a great product and best of all it is very affordable.
