I’d give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the extremely sharp edges. Functionally they are great and fit perfectly. But the inside edges are extremely sharp. My fishing buddy and myself both have been cut by these . Filed them down and significantly better.

Dangerous item....edges are not smooth...I cut my hand 3 times but Amazon is censoring my review forcing me to delete some info...BEWARE DANGEROUS ITEM

These seem to be well built and heavy... I was first disappointed that I missed that they don't come with hardware, but being my fault, I chose to get the appropriate hardware and mount them. After mounting, the smooth action suddenly becomes impossible to flip up. Due to a design flaw, the cleat rubs/digs in to your boat surface as you try to pull it up. I put a scale on the hinge in the folded position and pulled 20lbs of upward force with no movement. If you shim the mount 1/16" off the boat deck, it works however leaves a gap. Second issue, not tested but there are a lot of sharp edges where roap would easily fray if the corners werent filed down. Poor design, which is to bad as they do really look nice.
