I ordered 2 diff. numbered yakima keys and both didn't work on the same numbered lock font. So disappointing. It's not the money it's the wasted time and the fact that we planned a trip and now no storage.

These keys are great quality and to add on to it the shipping is quick, mine came a few days before it was supposed to! Directions state to WD-40 the key holes prior which I think everyone should do especially if they haven’t used their locks in a while. Key worked without any issues and you would really have to try to break it if you wanted to, one review showed a broken key, not sure how they managed that.

SO IMPRESSED how fast this came! This genuine Yakima SKS replacement key arrived in only two days from when I ordered, and it was shipped (Free Economy Shipping - Prime) from Portland, OR to South Florida via 1st Class Mail. (Checking the tracking, it was actually flown PDX-MIA the night I ordered.)The genuine Yakima SKS replacement key arrived in perfect, new condition. This was to match my existing rack tower locks (4, I don't know where the keys are). I also got a replacement Yakima SKS lock core to match my Yakima Rocket Box that had a different key. I am LoViNg that there's only one key now, no more fumbling to carry both keys & figure out which one to use each time...I had misplaced the original keys for my rack. Now I can unlock the towers and replace the clips for my new car...it was all held up until now. I also unlocked the non-matching Rocket Box lock for the last time, removed it and replaced the core, all 4 rack locks and the Rocket Box match now. Noice!So the quick arrival on the key & core? VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!Thanks, guys!

Lost my key recently after a ride. Bought another but it broke upon contact, might have been a fluke. If you order from the ReRack vendor, they were happy to replace it with a new one which is working great.Also, if you can't figure out which key you need, check with your local REI store, the one here had a master keyring to help identify which one your lock needs.
