I needed to replace my bottle of key oil from 1989 as it was getting slightly off-colored. It is probably fine, but I didn't want to put something not fine on my slightly sticking clarinet key. This oil is exactly what it should be. When I need to buy another one in 20 or 30 years it will be the Yamaha brand again as they do it right!

This synthetic key oil has worked sufficiently for my Bb Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet. The keys on my clarinet have suffered from sticky residue from its previous owner. However with this key oil they have become "like-new" and there is no more stickiness in the keys.
