While the mounts were of good quality, the wood bar was at best mediocre as there were a lot of dents and divits in the wood. Not as smmoth a finish as one would have epected. With regards to mounting hardware it is garbage. Before getting two of the lag bolts fully screwed to the bracket/wall they snapped off with no real load on them. Would have been really mad if my wife or one of my daughters was leaning on this and it released. Looks like the bolts are either cheap white metal which has zero strength or just poor quality of another metal.

It is a great product, but my only issue with is that the middle sinks down if any weight is applied to it. Less than ideal for stretching on the barre. Good for class barre work when not pressing down.

Make sure the screws are put in opposite of the nuts to pull the joint tighter together! It prevents bar from sinking low… this is a great product, especially if you’re in a smaller space. It’s lightweight, and the base is adjustable for easy storage. Very happy with this barre!
