SUMMARY3.0-stars -- Acceptable product; worked great for attaching wire cable for tiki lightingBACKGROUNDThis came up as a Vine suggestion and it looked like something that I could definitely use for running wire cable upon which to attach tiki light across my back patio deck.INITIAL OBSERVATIONSManufacturing quality seems acceptable. It is a basic bent eye made from stainless steel. I tend to prefer forged eyes, but for my intended use, a bent eye is sufficiently strong.COMPLAINTS / ISSUESI have no issues with the product and given how simple it is and the purpose, I don't foresee there being any problems, but something does come up, I will revisit this review and update it in the future.IMPRESSIONSThe product does what the ad says it should do. For my use, it is strong enough.CONCLUSIONFor my use, the shortness of the threaded portion is not a major issue since it is going to be going into the sides of 2x4s that my builder used for the fascia around my house. Although a 2x4 is 1.5" in this dimension and the screw threads on this product are only 1.25" in length, that should be plenty of strength for the stings of tiki lights.The product seems acceptable and it appears to meet all the specs in the ad. One thing I look for when purchasing these larger wood screws (eyes and hooks) is how sharp the threads are which assures grip and ability to easily turn to install. The quality of the threads also determines the pilot hole size that I drill in soft and hard woods and whether I need to supplement with beeswax or soap to lubricate.These screw eyes have nice, sharp threads that will make long-lasting assembly a breeze. Stainless is always a bonus so I don't have to worry about stains on the wood when plain hardware rusts.Would buy. Now I need to think about the project for them. Until then, a special spot in my fastener drawers.

These hooks have a very good quality. It is sturdy. I used these to hang decoration on the ceiling and it is functioning well.

Take the heavy duty description literally. These are thick metal and have big eyes. The stainless steel should make them weather resistant. The screw part is so thick that I will have to drill pilot holes before screwing these in. Good, strong product.

These are thick, nicely sized and strong for hanging whatever you need. as long as your mounting place can hold the weight, these screws will work out for heavy projecor screens, or clothing lines etc

These Eye Hooks are made with 304 Stainless Steel. That makes them that much more useful to me since I can use these outside without worrying about rust like I do with galvanized steel Eye Hooks. Since the threaded side of the Eye Hook is approximately 1.25 inches long, you can really grab the wood you are putting this into. These are rated to hold 150 lbs. and looking at them I am confident that if they are installed properly they will definitely hold that weight. I will be using these to hang a very heavy industrial light in my shop.
