Blower Motor Resistor Failure Symptoms
No Air Blowing Through Vehicle's Vents
The blower resistor is responsible for transferring power from the battery to the blower itself, so one of the symptom of the resistance failure is that no air flows out of the car exhaust.
Blower Motor Only Working on High Speed
This occurs due to the failed blower motor resistor not being able to control the flow of electric current.
Blower Motor Does Not Work on Certain Settings
Another symptom of the blower motor resistor failure is that it fails or does not work at all in one or more settings.

By the time my Mechanic went to put it in, it was not the correct one for my truck, I had to order another the correct one this month and have it installed. I also Have an order of Studs for my truck that I find out are not correct regardless of the information given and past return time. My fault on this Mechanic could not get Truck in to do work before return date. Thank youJust be sure you are very careful on disruption, have mechanic confirm what you read is correct.

Product failed after 25 days of ownership and almost no use. No ac on the hottest days of the year was frustrating. Trying it again hoping for a better result.

2006 Nissan frontier Crew cab replacement resistor... two 5.5 mm or 7/32 screws, undo the clip and it's done! I now have temperature control again and the AC works too! The local parts store wanted $149 for this part. The heater would initially only work on high, and the AC would not turn on at all. The delivery expectation was for the 10th of this month, it is currently the 5th and I already have it installed. It took 10 minutes using a flashlight in the dark. Thank you! Gawd, I love the Internet for this stuff.

One day delivery and a five minute 15$ fix.Heater fan on my 07 Xterra was not working on 1 or two nor was my ac working. Replaced and works like new.
