I had actually tried to make a volleyball harness like this on my own and gave up. The intent was to create a volleyball harness so that my daughter could practice her hitting approach and increase her power.I’m sure there are specifically designed harnesses for volleyball hitting practice, but figured for these soccer size might be fine.As hoped, these are perfect for our volleyball hitting practice needs.There’s no tying, no clips, no complex mechanisms or plastic parts to break – simply slide the harness open along the draw strings, drop the ball in, then pull the draw strings. The weight of the ball keeps the draw strings pulled closed.The string is that very soft nylon, perfect for hitting with her bare hands as one does in volleyball. The strings are much heavier duty than expected and take a look at the coverage in the string pattern under the ball. Holds the ball in no matter how hard she hits it.This is a high quality, durable harness so I don’t know why the manufacturer only advertises these as “storage.” These things take a pounding. My daughter beat the daylights out of it just in our garage and is only going to hit it harder as she becomes a much stronger volleyball hitter. Maybe soccer cleats would eventually tear them up or something, I doubt it though. These are tough.Ironically, her high school primary color is royal blue, identical to the blue harness in this set. Pretty cool, like we custom ordered it. Not even sure we’ll need the black harness.We’re impressed and very happy we found these harnesses. They’re much stronger than the pictures or price might let on. Absolutely no regrets.

These nets make it easy to take a soccer ball around anywhere when I don't want to take my entire backpack. Easier to hold onto the netting when my hands are full or I can even put my arm through the loop and carry it like a bag.
