These are exceptionally nice 1/4" stainless steel flange nuts. Their surface is smooth and shiny and polished and pretty, the edges are rounded, the serrations on the back of the flange are sharp but not too sharp so they function just right as a locking nut that requires no washer. They are very slightly magnetic, consistent with cold-worked 304 stainless steel. They screw onto a bolt with just the right amount of clearance. They come in a hinged little polypropylene storage box (securely taped shut for shipping - Thank You!). I definitely recommend.

These arrived promptly in an undamaged plastic box.Good quality nuts. Threads are smooth and accurate. Distance across the flats is right on spec and it fits a 7/16" socket perfectly. Stainless is a big plus over cadmium or zinc plated steel for strength and corrosion resistance and at this price is affordable as well.The flange and serrations eliminate the need for washers in many applications and 1/4"-20 is a pretty common size for things around the house, BBQs, fences, and other.Good stuff!

If you are looking for 1/4-20 flange hex nuts these are a good quality. However, know that these will not fit M6 bolts! As you can see from the picture they came in a clear storage plastic which is much better than a bag, imo. I would definitely recommend these. They work great and they are sturdy.

Nicely made stainless serrated flange nuts that work as intended. We'll see how well these will hold up. Got the kit in and am pleased! Very well packaged, fits well for my project, and comes in a nice container to keep things organized.

I needed some flanged nuts to secure some plastic panels near a road that is salted in the winter. These worked better than i expected. They assist in better distribution of the load than a nut/washer combo. Better load distribution means less likely to damage the brittle plastic. And although i did not get them for their appearance they just look better than a nut and washer.The best part however is that they mark the stainless grade (304) right on the nut itself. None of the box store stainless comes with any indication on the grade.None of the box stores offered this size flanged nut in stainless around me, and if they had i would have paid 3 times as much for them. They came well packaged, maybe even a little over packaged.

I’ve done a lot of DIY fabrication and repair over the years. I keep a good stock of bolts, nuts, screws, rivets etc. on hand all the time. I use a lot of bolts in my projects. I don’t have a welder and would probably burn down my garage if I had one, so bolts are often the fastener of choice. I’ve come to really like flange nuts, especially if they have the “ridges” on the back of the flange that grabs the surface at first contact. In most cases, I only need a wrench on the head of the bolt; the flange will take care of things on the other end. I spotted these ¼ X 20 stainless steel flange nuts on Amazon and gave them a try. I don’t use a lot of stainless because of the price and he fact most of my stuff is indoors, but stainless is the right call in some situations. These fit ¼ X 20 bolts perfectly. The flange is slightly smaller than the non stainless flange nuts I have, but they still work just fine. They come in a little plastic box of 50 nuts so I can keep them separate from the non stainless nuts. However, if… or should I say when… the plastic box cracks, the stainless nuts are a slightly different color than the regular nuts, making them easy to identify. The price is right and work like a charm… an excellent item to have in the inventory.

What can you say? They're flange nuts, right? However, if you ever bought inexpensive nuts, screws or any fastener, more than likely you have to toss a few due to the absence of quality control. That's why I decided to review a product with no personality, because I was impressed by the quality, and at a good price. Trust me, I am no Ernest M. Hemingway to be able to make something so mundane as to write about nuts, should tell you something. Believe me, as long as it takes me to type and correct misspellings, I could have forged nuts faster, but I was impressed, and I believe you may be too. Seriously
