I needed to replace the temp sensor in my RV's absorption fridge (make starts with a "D") in a hurry. I found this kit which included a bonus of an A/C temp sensor, too. The actual process of replacing the sensor is challenging- getting the wires from inside the cabinet to the outside of the coach- where the control board lives, is "fun". But once installed, this part works just as good (actually, much better- since the old part wasn't working, at all) as the OE sensor. Less expensive, too! I'm satisfied.

Had a thermistor go out on a Norcold refrigerator. Inside the fridge, it was a lot warmer than it should have been. Tested thermistor by placing inside cup of ice water and measuring OHMs and determining based on norcold reference chart that my thermistor was bad. Installed the white thermistor and fridge worked fine. The thermistor connector fit into the control board just fine and the length of the thermistor was great. It’s been installed for a few weeks and we have had no issues with the fridge at all. Delivery was fast and only took 5 minutes to install. I highly recommend this replacement thermistor.

The sensor failed in my Bouge RV refrigerator. It was running constantly and freezing everything . I was one month out of warranty and company wouldn’t replace. They did refund half the purchase price. The black one had the same plug as mine and it works. The display isn’t right. Set at 20f the fridge stays at 36-37f. I popped the control cover off, located the sensor, cut it off and drilled a hole into the fridge at the inside light. Routed the wire into bottom of fridge. Don’t toss in trash when you can fix for $10.
