Installed this unit today works awesome I installed it in my 32 ft camper because the roof top unit is so noisy and an energy hog and my 13500 btu rooftop unit couldn’t get it below 78 during the day I finished the install and vacuumed it down and then turned off my rooftop unit temperature was at 79 with in 5 minutes it had already dropped to 74 I highly recommend this unit as it will definitely drop my power bill

Problems did not come with a template to drill the hole behind the unit.The larger copper tubing was only 7" long, and my house walls are 8" thick. When installing it, the joint was right at the bend and popped the fitting when I bent it. Had to buy a Male by Female 90-degree coupling. worked great.Had a 220 - 240 Volt model. My Bad, I bought a dual 15 amp breaker, but it was not two-phase, did not work. Changed the breaker, works great. This unit does not have the left/right air movement feature, but you can manually adjust it.Works great, very quiet, can barely hear the outdoor unit. The indoor unit, my air filter, is louder than this unit.

This is a great little mini split. Seems to be well built and comes pre-charged! I have it in a 600 sq foot garage and it keeps the temperature a comfortable 72 degrees!

Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. The important considerations for me were price and the ability to work directly with the manufacturer for parts and maintenance. After reviewing the many videos online, most can successfully install this unit with the right equipment.I purchased this unit to replace a Daikin, which, coincidentally, the YITAHOME costs the same as replacing a part for the Daikin under the manufacturer's warranty. As a rule of thumb, if you must involve an unnecessary middleman for repair, stay away from the product. In my situation, the high voltage (220) lines were already in place. If you lack the knowledge and ability to follow the required codes for installation (selling your house/ adverse to burning down your home), please consult an electrician.In addition to wrenches and screwdrivers, you must have a vacuum pump and gauge set. The unit comes precharged with freon. However, you must vacuum the lines to create negative pressure before releasing the freon. I purchased a returned set from Amazon for $80.00. I recommend purchasing Nylog Gasket/Thread Sealant and buying the optional insurance.Installation was 100% straightforward. In addition to the video the manufacturer posted on Amazon, many similar online videos outline the process. The only issue I have had was configuring WiFi. Pull out the WiFi instructions. The mobile application is AC Freedom. I preferred going to the app store rather than using their QR code to obtain the app. However, once you load the app, you must use the activation code listed in the WiFi instructions. Though your mind tells you that you have an AC, most likely, you purchased the AC with a heat pump. When adding the device, select heat pump, not AC.On the subject of functions and features, if it is not explicitly listed in the description and confirmed by the manufacturer, do not assume they exist. For example, my model has automated up and down swinging of air veins. Left and right movement is manual. Every feature in the manual includes the caveat that the feature may be optional.As others have mentioned, accessing technical support can be frustrating. It is the literal definition of the game telephone.

DO NOT BUY, first off it came missing parts, second : even once you get it all to install it it does not work properly. For example, it does not have any smart capability. Next we move to the swing function.... or lack there of. Left to right does not work. Period. Up and down swing you may ask? yup that didnt work either. Vibrates the whole wall when using it. Also it didnt have any charge, it does not have a auto function. When you click it on the remote it just does nothing. So from what we can tell so far this thing is a total lie and waste of money. We have even argued with amazon over this and they WILL NOT let you return it or get a replacement. So now we have this pile of garbage installed (which cost money too as you cannot just simply install since you have to have a HVAC person do a negative pressure run). So what seems to be a good idea is actually more costly than just purchasing a window unit. Oh and also even when recharged this thing couldnt cool a closet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS RIP OFF, simply put you will lose any money you spend on this thing and there is no customer support. To sum it up, doesnt cool, was not charged, swing functions do not work, no wifi enabled blah blah, auto control doesnt even function. vibrates the whole wall (again professional install) and Amazon and YITA or whatever offer ZERO help. YITA make this right and the review can change or whatever, just keep selling this scam.

Addition to the review: The story gets worse. There is nothing on the add or in the boxes that indicates the shut off valves housing and the side protection grill are not included. THE ADD IS COMPLETEY DECEPTIVE! I got that part after spending 30 minutes on Amazon support. The webite set off my bitdefender for viruses and my VPN was sending massive warnings as well. Companies phone number is non operating. Had the electrician and contractor out to install this weekend and the "comprehensive installation kit" that is advertised is not with the packaging. I can return the entire unit but can't just get the installation kit. Very Very frustrating. Haven't been able to use it so maybe after I purchase the installation kit, and get it powered up my review may change. Right now all that is advertized is not true.
