Bought this for my 2 mini Bernedoodles. I’m pretty handy, I buy furniture all the time and put it together. I also do this for my not so handy neighbors, so I know what I’m doing. However, these instructions could use some updating and editing. Specifically, by adding close up views of smaller sections. I had to take apart and redo a couple sections because the pictures weren’t accurate.Overall, this is a nice piece of furniture, has plenty of room for the pups and looks nice. Would not recommend to someone that isn’t good at putting things together.

I absolutely love this box. It took a while to assemble but once complete, it looks great, my dog is secure and comfortable and safe.

The item was decent overall, but the instructions were only pictures with no text, which made them difficult to follow at times. The screw holes didn't always align correctly, and the screws didn't grip the wood properly, causing them to shift around.

My wife hated our dog crates and wanted something that fit in with your home decor. So, this fit that core criteria. There are many things we like about this and a few challenges.Pros: The crate/furniture is heavy duty with and can handle even some of the crazier or stronger dogs. The only real failure point might be the latches which one could replace the screws with bolts. But, it has been no issue for our two dogs. Also, it is nice that you can choose to make it two spaces or one large space. It requires unscrewing several points. It is not hard to do, but it is also not just simple latch or fold down. In addition, we like the overall look, and it keeps a clean look with toys in the drawers and a large top that can easily hold just about whatever is needed. This thing should easily last for many years. If you have the space and you also have the time to assemble this, it is a great investment.Cons: First, It is heavy. Be sure to have a second person help lift the box or completed crate. Second, it is about 6 inches taller than it needs to be in my opinion. Third, it takes a long time to assemble. I have done many things like this before, and I am very handy with many tools. It still to me about 4-5 hours to complete. There are a lot of screws. I would strongly recommend using a lower powered electrical screwdriver to complete the work. The included plastic screwdriver is a joke even for a free one. Finally, they don't include many extra screws or bolts if one gets lost or broken. We didn't break or lose any but this could easily happen, and most bags had exactly what was needed. Also, the instructions could be more clear on a few points. However, these are not deal breakers for me due to the overwhelmingly positive attributes. I would give this a 4.5 stars overall, but rounded up to 5

This double crate console was not, to put it mildly, a straightforward build. The instructions could be considerably clearer in parts, and some backtracking had to be done. One screw was missing, and one piece did not have drilled holes that were supposed to be present, but those were worked around. All in all, it took a fair amount of time to get done. The end result is a nice looking console with storage drawers. It's a pretty decent height, so check the measurements for your space. It functions well in the space under where the wall tv had been hung, so that worked out nicely. The height is a little odd though from the standpoint of it being intended for pets -- if a pet is small enough to fit comfortably in that footprint, why would it need such a high ceiling in its crate? So I guess that dimension was chosen from the furniture aspect. It leaves plenty of room for comfortable pet bedding. This is most suitable for small to midsize pets that are used to being crated, not power chewers or pets who hate being confined. It's nice to have a place to keep the pets safe and secure without taking up additional floor space with crates; we are referring to it as The Duplex or The Gated Community. :)
