If your box comes even somewhat dinged, I would strongly suggest checking pieces before you build for dents. Even though this had a large trash bag (30gl) full of packaging material, several pieces arrived bent and made building this so painful.Once built it's not bad. It's not the highest quality but it's good and doesn't look like a locker.

Putting together large furniture is never easy, but this one at least wasn’t a hair-pulling ordeal. The instructions were clear enough and all the holes line up like they should. It’s sturdy and spacious. Definitely worth the price. My only gripe is that the keys are not interchangeable with the locks. I now have to label the keys to know which locks they go to. Also would be nice if the bottom drawer had a lock too.

Easy to put together. This is also sturdy and includes extra cross bracing in the back to make it sturdy. I’d buy it again. Looks good as well.

Bought this to turn it into a gun cabinet, and works amazing at it. Just didn't put the shelves in and added some support on the back, takes about an hour to put together. Extra hardware included, a drill is your best friend to put it together.

If you have ever assembled anything from a certain Swedish furniture manufacturer, you know just how challenging their assembly instructions are. This wood file and storage cabinet's instructions are just as challenging, if not more so. While the manufacturer said that it takes approximately two hours to assemble, it took me the entire day due to the lack of clarity on some of the illustration-only steps.My family expressed a bit of concern over a little note that came with the product working of lead being present in its manufacture. Because of this, I would advise keeping this unit out of kids' rooms and in the garage, craft room, or workshop where kids are not likely to be too often.Most of the problem came from being able to discern which direction certain parts went, especially with the drawer rails. There were plenty of screws, dowels, and accessories to put this together. As for price, I think it is a little steep for what you are getting, especially with so much assembly involved.

Pretty large file cabinet with shelves. Takes quite awhile to assemble due to the amount of parts and steps. Its pretty stable overall and holds quite a lot. Particle board wood material. Not the most durable but for the cost its good.

But overall, looks very nice and sturdy once put together.We like how the doors actually come together, and don't pop open if you were to open the drawers.With two people, it was pretty easy going to set up, you just needed to make sure to follow the directions carefully.Once put together, you definitely need another set of hands to set it up right.The drawers glide in and out easy, they don't slam like most, and you're able to put child locks on it (optional) if need beWe love it!
