I have a few IoT platforms operating in our home. YoLink is my favorite by far. Setup couldn't be easier and everything just works.I purchased the 4-pack of plugs for adding some control to some outlets around the house - electronic stuff that needs to be cycled on/off every so often and I really get tired of going around the house doing it. Now, I can schedule it, or just do it on demand from my phone when necessary.I really do not need the included hub. I think I have 3 spares from when I purchased some water detector packs a year or two ago. What I did notice is that the hub is now more compact than the prior version.

Works great used it in combination with a routine and YoLink thermometer to control heat to water pipes to keep them from freezing

A decade ago a made a cigar humidor out of an igloo cooler. Living in the northeast and having the humidor in my basement I was unable to maintain the &0 degrees that I wanted for my stogies. I procured an electronic HVAC control that I triggered with an electronic temp sensor. The HVAC control would then output 120V to a small incandescent bulb inside the humidor. 5 years ago I relocated to Florida so cold snaps rarely lasted long enough to concern me. Until this winter. My previous setup no longer worked and I didn't relish the thought of troubleshooting it. Since I already had a Yolink Temp/Humidity sensor in the humidor I reached out to support and asked if it would trigger a smart plug. The answer was yes. Been working like a charm. Had a bit of an issue setting it up but tech support walked me through the process in real time.

After many hours of research, decided to go with the YoLink product line. Purchased the hub, water sensors, water valve controller, couple of the outlet controls, motion sensor, and a door sensor (which by the way works fantastic for the garage door eliminating the question 5 minutes after leaving home, did we close the garage door?) The outlet controller is great, scan the QR code which will connect it to your hub, plug it in and done. You can control the plug from your phone. The Yolink app is easy to use, controls everything on the system with a lot of different options. Sends alerts to your email or via text message. The best part, the app is FREE, no subscription costs. Adding equipment is a breeze, just scan the QR code on the device and it connects wireless to the hub.

These plugs are easy to set up, very flexible in terms of scheduling and routines, and work well. The Yolink hub is an issue (and I'm not the only one who has had problems with it). The hubs tend to stop staying connected to the network (Ethernet) for no good reason. My replacement hub will be arriving next week. I'm pointing this out because none of the Yolink devices will work without a Yolink hub.

I'm using this for my electric blanket. It has an auto shut off of 10 hours but that is way too long for me. I' like to turn it up and fall asleep all toasty warm but then I wake up several hours later way overheated. This smart plug has been the perfect solution. I have the blanket plugged into it and I set it to turn off in 2 hours, so my blanket shuts off after I'm asleep. It's very reliable. If I wake up and want to heat my blanket again, I can just grab my phone and turn the plug on for another couple hours. The app is very easy to use though I wish the colors were brighter and icons and print were larger so that I could do it without having to put my glasses on. I can also set the plug to power on and off at a certain time each day, on a schedule. You can use a schedule mode or a timer mode and set it for however long you want to. You can also review the history of when it was powered on and off. I do wish the app worked on my tablet, hopefully they will develop that in time, but all in all it is a great product and has made my life so much better. Highly recommend.

Love Yolink products for my smart house. Devices respond quickly, are reliable and have a great range of response. I use this device in combination with other Yolink devices for my Sump Pump setup in my basement. These devices easily link with Home Assistant for a whole home automation solution.

I ordered 3 of these smart plugs (on sale) @ Amazon (The delivery 📦 was fast) , these weren’t my first YoLink devices and they need also the required YoLink hub. The 10 amp is sufficient for most small appliances ! however I wouldn’t personally use them for any kind of heating application ! a nice addition to my “smart collection of YoLink devices” the connectivity is great and set up with the QR code is easy I ordered 3 more of them and I recommended them and they are backed with a great customer (in person) service !

Using this awesome and super simple outlet in a couple of applications. The first is to turn on my tractor's block heater when I need to clear the laneway. No more getting all dressed and trudging thru the snow.Second application is to control a tiny heater under a sink with the help of the Yolink Temp sensor and the Yolink automation. Instead of having to heat the entire room with propane to keep the water from freezing, now I can just heat the small space under the sink. Saving lots of $$ over the winter!

Great smart electrical plugs. I now have about a dozen of these smart plugs from Yolink. Yolink makes their devices extremely easy to setup. Open the Yolink app, at the top of the screen is the icon to scan QR codes, tap on it, scan the QR code on the Yolink smart device (smart plug in this case). The app shows it has the device's (plug's) information. Tap the bind button and basically it is done. You can then select the device's settings and rename to something useful and even assign it to a room if you would like.One of the greatest things Yolink has done is with the integration between their app and their Alexa skill. Once you scan and bind a Yolink device, if you use Alexa and have the Yolink hub, the new Yolink device is automatically added to the list of devices and is available/controllable by Alexa. You do not need to open the Alexa app, go into settings, then device setting, press the plus (+) to add a new device, then press scan for new devices and HOPE the new device is found. With Yolink, the new Yolink device is already added to Alexa and waiting for you to give it a command or create a routine for it.I do have other Yolink devices such as their motion sensors, hand remote and their hub. From the time the motion sensors detects motion and the Yolink plug turns on, is almost instant. Other companies hubs take a few seconds and if you are using wifi, no hub devices, it can take over five seconds to react.For the motion sensors, I have setup IFTTT routines in the hub to turn on/off lights connected to these plugs. Does NOT need the internet to work, once setup.Because of the easy of setup, quick response time and the Alexa automatic integration, I wish there were an option for ten (10) stars, So, far, Yolink and their line of smart home devices deserve every star.One last thing, I have found that Yolink DOES read user's feedback AND accept suggestions from their customers. For this, I give two thumbs up 👍👍 to Yolink and its C/S.
