Sometimes this plug doesn’t work and won’t turn on or off with the separate button and I have to turn everything on or off. Sometimes makes my appliances tweak and turn off by itself. Didn’t like it and removed my from the plug.

Show easy inconvenient. I set up my garage/laundry room using these all the lights, an air compressor.. today while repairing the garage door opener I placed one of these in there because the light inside only comes on when the door opens or closes. It’s an old unit so I retrofit it with one of these. I still got one left that I’m not sure what I’m gonna use on yet.

Having tried other methods of automatic lighting I have been somewhat frustrated with my ability to understand some forms of technology. So here comes the remote-control outlets and a remote that will control all the outlets based on the remotes buttons that will pair with any of up to 5 separate outlets. For me that is enough to do anything I need in the house and I put both the remotes in a central location in the house. I realize there are many options out there for remote outlets, but some require somewhat advanced knowledge of how some items work. This is a one stop on off item that is very easy to install and to figure out the programming. I use them for the coffee maker, which in my case has no timer. I just hit the one button, and the maker goes full-on. Others power lamps and the other lights. I believe this will be perfect for those of us that are technology challenged and will make our life a bit easier. The outlets are solidly built, go in easy and pair effortlessly. I find this to be a great value for the money spent and it is easy to install and very easy to use.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I want to light up my apartment with lamps in the evening, but can't be bothered to turn them on/off one by one. I've looked into smart plugs and bulbs, but they are expensive and complicated to set up. These outlets and remotes work perfectly right out of the box. No need to download an app or use a hub. The plugs are numbered 1-5 and correspond to the on/off buttons labeled 1-5 on the remote. You can control each plug individually or all at once. Setup is incredibly easy. You plug in the outlet, hold the pairing button for 5 seconds and it is immediately paired. You don't even need to have a remote nearby. I love that there are two remotes as well, so you can leave them in different spots. I keep one by the front door to turn on all the lights when I get home, and one at the bedside to turn off all the lights before I go to bed.The plugs are well designed so that you can fit two into one outlet. The remote is also slim and very simple. Having separate on and off buttons means it doesn't matter if a light is already on or off. For example, if I press all off at night, I know for sure that all the lights are off and I didn't accidentally turn one back on. The buttons are very tactile and easy to press. They click satisfyingly so you know that you successfully pressed the button. The only limitation is if you need to control more than 5 plugs, I don't think you could add more on since there are only buttons for 5 on the remote. You also can't dim lights, it's a binary on and off, but you can still use it on a dimmable lamp. Finally, you can't control it by voice activation or on your phone, for example while you're not at home. Those aren't necessary features for me, and the huge upside is that the set up and connection are so much simpler and more reliable knowing that it doesn't require wi-fi and multiple connected devices.
