I was looking for a way to use a flash off camera. I made some mistakes in the process. This set seemed to be the right thing, and it worked great. The only hiccup was my not understanding to put both the transmitter, that one that is mounted onto the camera hot show, and the receiver, on the flash, both on 622. Intuitively I thought the transmitted was different than the receiver. The cool thing was that I have 1 Yongnuo electronic flash and 2 inexpensive Neewer flashes. I set them up as slaves, and the Yongnuo as the primary and could actually use all 3 flashes. Only one warning. There is no USA warrantee/guarantee for the flashes or controllers. here is only one "authorized" sales person in the US. When I tried to register the equipment for the warrantee, I discovered that I am on my own if anything goes wrong, there is no customer support, etc., from within the US. But, at the price of this equipment, I believe, it is worth the risk.

I bought this set for use with my Nikon system several years ago along with the YN622N-TX Transmitter. I have used it in conjuncture with various Nikon flash models, including 800, 700 and 900, as well as with Yongnuo flashes. I have had ample time to test it in the field for paid work, as well as in the studio. This is my experience:Durability:These little plastic cases have proved to be durable. I regularly toss them in the bottom of bags, and they are scratched and scuffed, but never stop performing. The buttons, battery doors, shoe mount--all are still functioning as they should with no problems. Considering the cost, they have endured a lot of abuse with no significant issues. I appreciate the locking mechanisms on the shoe attachment, which give the whole unit a more secure fit.Performance:If seated properly, they are consistent and do a great job of firing my flashes when controlled by the YN622N-TX. I always use the transmitter, and have not tested using these receivers any other way. A few times I have experienced a connectivity issue related to how securely the device is seated on the flash's hotshoe plate, but this is usually fixed by snugging it up and tightening it back down, and it's rare.I have used the HSS on many occasions with no issues, and it was a big incentive to purchase the unit. I have shot outdoors in direct sunlight using HSS with no connectivity problems. I have photographed events, with one of these units mounted 20-30 feet away on a balcony, with no issues.I use rechargeable high capacity AA batteries for the units, and they have a fairly long life. I can do 6-10 shoots a week without replacing the batteries, although I don't shoot with a fast FPS.Overall I love these units and would absolutely buy them again. Highly recommend!

Yongnuo YN622 N-Kit II: Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei.Allerdings erwarte ich Lieferungen, in ungeöffneter Originalverpackung, was hier nicht der Fall war. Beide Geräte waren eindeutig schon einmal ausgepackt.

I've used their speedlights in the past and have recently needed the upgrade to use them wirelessly. They do the job fantastically and didn't take me too long to learn how to use! Set up is quite easy; put in two AA batteries and ensure that both devices are linked to the same group (ABC) and channel (123).

This (with a 685 as well) was my first non-Nikon flash setup, and it went amazingly well. Having used CLS before and depending on line of sight, the radio controls are a vast improvement. I have had zero mis-fires, they work every time. Never going back to CLS. The documentation is mediocre, but they are fairly obvious to use. No issues, really, and at a great price point.

These are great for iTTL wireless flash shooting. Price is very reasonable and these are built well. Only complaint is these are a bit large, but manageable. These are much better than IR triggers and is 100% compatible with my Nikon DSLR's and speedlights. Great for off-camera shots and multi-light setups. May buy more in future to expand number of lights.

These are great. Have both the older version and these new version. Both work the same but love these for the recessed buttons and the mounting to the flash holders are with a quick release clamp as on the Nikon flash, not the screw on retainer. Have had these (and the old version) on a shoot using 5 speed lights with 3 using 622n old version and 2 with the 622n II. They were set up using 3 groups, HSS, Ittl. At a distance of 100' from the camera to the flash, the flash units were behind a rock and behind the subject. All fired correctly and with no false / missing triggering. These were firing an (1)SB800, (2) Shanny SN600SN and Yongnuo (2) YN568EX. The master controller was the YN622N-TX. Need a remote trigger? These are the ones to buy. You can also use the 622n to remotely trigger the camera with the 622n-TX. worth the $40 USD ea for the triggers. Even though there are flash units coming out with the radio built in, and these do add another connection point, I will not be moving to the more expensive and less capable (interchangeable) flash units.
