The finish on the product may be dangerous. The smell coming off the product is very strong and maybe dangerous. It seems to be coming from the finish on the case. The children can not stand to have it around. Have stuck it outside to be aired out. If the odor does not go away will take it in to see if it is toxic. If The odor does not go away will have to ship back. The children love the little violins. Sorry but I cannot take a chance on a smell this strong and toxic. If it doesn’t work my daughter will send them back.

Je n’ai pas vu de photos donc je ne savais pas à quoi m’attendre. Il est magnifique. De bonne qualité.Le seul bémol c’est que le boitier sent une mauvaise odeur. Sinon tout est parfait.

I bought this as a JOKE PROP. I am not a pro comedian and it is not for a show. I just kid my friends and act goofy. Since I am a musician by profession , it works in my musical circles as a joke. I ask if they would like me to play a 'Little VIolin'solo. They act surprised that they had no Idea I played violin so they agree for me to play a 'LITTLE VIOLIN'solo. At this point I whip out the 'LITTLE Violin'and pretend to play. Usually gets a 'GROAN or 2" Would have been cool if itactually could make a little noise as you drew the Bow across the strings. Problem is, I have used the joke on as many people as possible and have no one else.. So now it is displayed near my Computer collecting dust.

This is a very well made little miniature. It is a perfect model of a violin. Looks great on it's stand and the violin case is equally well made. I love it all.

I actually ordered this for a joke. I was surprised at the detail of all the parts. It even comes with a violin case!! Cute for a doll house or a violin collection.
