Appears to be a well-made quick release shackle, that I had a few uses for. I like the large release pull and the good finish on the shackle. However, one of the pins that locks the shackle came out on the first use. Bit disappointing. Using the other one now, hope that lasts

Using these to clip gloves onto my jacket. The clasp works well and is smooth to operate. Price point seems fair for the push of two.

My wife is a full time firefighter and said they use these all the time for their gear. She was very happy with the quality of these, they work with ease and seam like they’ll hold up overtime.

As a firefighter, having reliable gear is non-negotiable. The YUEARNR 2 Pieces Quick Release Clip Shackle for SCBA Mask delivers on functionality where it counts.These stainless steel shackles are smooth and large enough to easily accommodate my mask strap, and they attach securely to my turnout clip. The quick-release mechanism is efficient, allowing for swift donning and doffing of the mask during critical moments.However, the leather pull tab is a bit on the thinner side. While it hasn't failed me, a slightly thicker leather would instill more confidence in its durability over time.Overall, this product is a valuable addition to my gear. If you're looking for a dependable SCBA mask clip, this one does the job well, with just a minor area for improvement. 🔥🧯

I really hate to say this, but I ordered from two different listings, and the other one was better. Here’s why:Finish: Great on bothPlay/Slop: I detect a little more play, or slop, when it is locked and I’m pulling on the arm that fits over the locking pin (where you would attached your load). To me, a tighter fit is a better and more secure fit. It is only slight, though, so it may or may not be a factor.Leather Strap: The leather strap on these shackles is a loop. You can put your fingers through it and pull. The strap on the other one I ordered is a solid strip of leather, at least 4x thicker, and fastened with a larger rivet. It will likely last much longer, and be less prone to break. See photos: This one is in the back in the photo with leather straps, and on the left in the photo showing rivets.Ring: The ring connecting the locking pin and leather strap is welded closed in the one from another listing. This must be to ensure it will never accidentally snag on something and risk separation. Just a guess. This one is not welded. This is a very minor detail, and I’m not sure if it even matters, but I did notice. See photo of rings: The other (welded) one is on the left, and this one is on the right.If you want these for light-duty use, they will probably work just fine (which is why I’m only removing one star). However, if your use is heavy duty, you may want to consider another option.

These are decent SCBA mask shackles. The leather is very thin, I feel it could be thicker so it would be easier to grab with your gloves on. The shackle is made out of lightweight metal, the mechanism works smoothly and easily. Overall, it works as it is designed too.Overall, for the price I would recommend.
