My kitten eats half a can of wet food twice a day, with some dry food mixed in - these little spatulas make it easy to divide the can and mix up the food.

This two set of spatulas for pet food cans is very useful to have in your cutlery drawer. The spatula helps you get all of the pet food out of the can (for once) and not waste anything. There are grooves along the spatula to help with the scooping out process. They can also be used to open pop top cans. I admit to using these little spatulas for my own food needs as well. Just pop them in the dishwasher to clean. Purrfect!!!!

I like these so much, they are not the first (or last) one's I have. The material is silicone, I think, and there is a metal piece inside that gives it it's rigidity. It goes up to about 1/4" from the edge; so sturdy and just a tiny bit of flex. It's also thicker than a spoon or knife. The paw part helps you keep a grip, as the handle is a little short. And to nitpick, the inside is slightly concave like a scoop, making it a little more difficult to scrape something off against a flat edge.
