Fits Shure wireless transmitter just fine. There is a positive click when connected properly. Personally, I like the two ear loops and the wire around the back of the head which hold it in place. Will be VERY comfortable for speaking engagements and does not slip when moving rapidly. Might be great for theater, but I haven’t run this through a large PA yet to see if it handles singing well, or what the audio quality is like through a large system. It sounds fine through studio monitors and in-ears but I cannot vouch for the audio quality beyond speaking yet. Will revise my review when I have a gig to test it in that capacity. All things considered, I love the comfort of this lightweight design, the ear loops are discreet when covered by my long hair and, with the exception of the mic windscreen, you really don’t see it much because of the beige color. One negative is the thin gauge wire - I’d want to have a second unit or a wired backup mic on hand “just in case” because it isn’t likely to withstand a rigorous road trip while you get your Madonna groove on. It should be perfectly fine for public speaking in churches, university lectures, Ted Talks, etc. as long as it is stored somewhere it is not likely to be under stress. Again, the thin gauge wire isn’t likely going to withstand a world tour rock show. 🤘 The other con is the black dot you have to push to disengage the unit from the Shure receiver. I found this difficult to press with my finger and had to use a screwdriver to get it to disengage. The good news is it is not likely to slip out, but I greatly prefer the connectors that screw on to the threads of the Shure receivers as opposed to this difficult-to-use button. All things considered, I recommend for anyone using Shure transmitters that is involved in public speaking at churches, schools, government, Ted Talks, and even podcasting - as long as you aren’t going to cram the bundled up cable into a gig bag. It likely won’t withstand heavy road abuse for very long. Good value for public speakers

**The Following Positive 5 Star Review of this Product Complies With All Amazon Vine Community Guidelines & Standards**As a Professional Stage & Lighting Technician, Sound & Studio Engineer, Professional Audio-Visual Production Specialist and Musician I am always working with Wireless Microphones! This particular Headset Microphone from YXG is an excellent Microphone which works in conjunction with the Shure Lavalier Mic Bodypack! I find this to be super convenient as our studio uses a lot of Shure Products. As you can see in the picture I posted, this Microphone attaches right into the Shure Bodypack as advertised! Now let's get into the features & details of this headset mic! It's constructed of a nice wire/metal frame with plastic over the ear guards for comfort when worn. The Microphone extends on a wire/Metal mount and is easily adjustable depending on your face & head size. There is a windscreen which covers the actual Microphone providing better audio clarity and over all sound! They also provide a secondary windscreen as well which is convenient! The cable that extends from the headset to the Bodypack is a moderate length providing plenty of space regardless of body type! When I used this headset with the Shure Bodypack and ran it thru one of our Sound systems everything sounded crystal clear! I was super impressed by the quality of the sound and the over all ease of use and functionality of this unit!Over all I'm super impressed with this product and highly recommend anyone that already has a Shure Bodypack and is looking to add another option in terms of a headset mic!!I'm rating this product Five Stars because it's excellent!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After putting this headset microphone through its paces, I've got a pretty good feel for what it offers. For the price, it definitely has some strong points, especially if you need a backup or an entry-level option.Pros:Good Value: Several reviewers mentioned the excellent value for the price, and I have to agree. It's a budget-friendly option that doesn't completely skimp on functionality. I actually found this one to have better sound that others from the same manufacturer. Go figure.Good Sound Quality: For its intended use, the sound quality is generally good. It's not going to compete with high-end mics, but it's perfectly adequate for speaking engagements and presentations especially if your PA system is also budget.Compatibility with Shure Systems: It does connectivity with Shure wireless body packs.Comfortable and Lightweight: It is lightweight and comfortable to wear, especially the dual ear hook design, which seems to offer a secure fit. The one ear design the mic will fall off position if you move around.Cons:Fit Issues for Some: While many found it adjustable, a few users with potentially larger heads experienced issues with the fit and the security of the clip.Build Quality Concerns: this is NOT a microphone for workout or performance. This is strictly a presentation microphone.Sensitivity to Plosives: The microphone seems prone to picking up pops and hisses ("plosives"), so a pop filter is definitely recommended for optimal sound, that is, always us e the included foam.Lack of Instructions/Warranty: The absence of any instructions or warranty information is a bit concerning.Side changing: You can change sides on this microphone best fitting for you camera work.Overall / Summary:For the price, this headset microphone offers a decent entry point or a reliable backup option, particularly if you're already using Shure wireless systems. The sound quality is acceptable for speaking and general use. However, the build quality seems to be where costs were cut, and some users might experience fit issues.Buy or Pass?Buy (with caveats): If you're on a tight budget and need a functional headset mic for speaking engagements, presentations, or as a backup, and you primarily use Shure equipment, this could be a worthwhile purchase. Just be aware of the potential build quality and plosive issues.Pass: If you require a more robust and high-fidelity microphone for professional audio work or if you're concerned about long-term durability, you might want to invest in a higher-end option. Also, double-check the connector compatibility with your specific equipment before buying.
