Exactly what is show and described. It replaced a resistor from 1979 that finally failed and I'm confident that this one is going to last decades. It appears to be the same quality or better.

These resistors are truly 10 ohms +/- 5%. The packages need to be handled carefully like all units of this type with refractory material in them. I ran a few of them at 12.5 Vdc and 16. watts for 30 minutes in still air with good natural circulation. The resistors were running at about 450. F temperature. Be careful to locate them away from anything that could damaged by these temperatures (like wire insulation, plastic cases, ...). If you run them at the rated 20 watts the temperatures will be even higher.

As advertised - it's a bag of resistors.... so 'meets expectations'. Sorry no pics.EDITED - After finally getting around to opening these resistors, I have to amend my review - Ordered and received 2 bags (24 pieces) of 10 ohm, 20 watt resistors. One bag had 6 10 ohm and 6 10K ohm (10000 ohms) which, of course, are no use in my circuit. Not going to submit a claim, because I didn't need all 24 anyway, but be aware that whoever packs these doesn't know how to read the information printed on them.

I'm using these to "pre-charge" my inverter and other things that have input caps. Can't comment on how much power they can dissipate or how close to the value they are.. But they work for my application where they are only connected in circuit for a couple of seconds...
