the mounting shaft required hours of smoothing before it fit the bearings. I will say, the shaft is made of very hard steel.

The quality is good. They run relatively true. I did end up machining the spindle down to a consistent diameter. I'm not sure why it's diameter changes across it's length repeatedly but for my uses it was an easy fix. The chuck could use a bit of a sand down, but not too bad.
