Works is intended I do wish that the range and the volume were a little more. But I can't complain because the price tag was right.

Gratamente sorprendido por esta pareja de intercomunicadores, con una relacion calidad/precio dificilmente superable.Ofrece unas caracteristicas propias de productos de gama alta y lo que más valoro es su potencia y calidad en el sonido.A falta de probar más a fondo diria que cumple de sobra las espectativas, buena bateria, aceptable cancelacion de ruido, app facil de manejar, comandos de voz en español, etc.La única pega es que no se lleva bien con el asistente de google. Cuando le doy alguna orden al intercomunicador a la vez se activa el asistente de voz de Google, igual tengo que desactivarlo o encontrar el ajuste adecuado.En general lo compraria de nuevo.

Arrived on time, easy to set up and install, works well.Sound quality is good and rhe hands free option to answer calls, make calls. Listen to music etc is an added bonus.Great value for money

So I didn’t have huge expectations for these comms units given the price was 1/3 of the main brands but man was I blown away. These things are QUALITY units in every way, from packaging to build and material to the app and performance, these are seriously high end kit! Sound quality is TOP and they get LOUD, mind you I ride with ear plugs and can still hear everything perfectly. The battery lasts a full day and charges up super quick afterwards. Seriously unless one of the other brands has a specific feature that you absolutely must have then these are the way to go so save some money. Oh and a note about range, I’m sure these do fine but a trick I use is to Bluetooth to my phone and join a group on discord as it’s unlimited range and anyone can join with a quick invite. No muss no fuss.

Unboxing: The box includes 2 x ASMAX Z1 units, a user manual, and 2 accessories boxes each containing: magnetic mount, speakers, mounting plate, metal clamp, boom mic, chin bar mic, USB-C charging cable, cleaning wipe, speaker pads, velcro adhesive speaker mounts, velcro adhesive mic mount, mic muff, stickers, and spare 3M adhesive for the mounting plate. The user manual is quite easy to understand, with lots of diagrams.Installation: I had no trouble installing these units on a Shoei RF-1200 and a SiGi helmet. The 3M double-sided tape holds well. The speakers fit nicely in the speaker pockets of both helmets. I've had previous headsets where the speakers are too big for the pockets and need to be trimmed, so it was nice not to have to do that. The unit attaches magnetically to its mount, making it very easy to attach. To remove, you pull the lever at the front or the mount down while pushing the unit forward.Pairing: Pairing with my iPhone was simple. You can just say "Hi max, phone pairing" or press the large button on the unit. Pairing with the other ASMAX Z1 unit was also easy. You can say "Hi Max, group mesh" or press and hold the smaller intercom button for 2s. I was able to pair this in "universal pairing" mode with another brand of headset without any problem by holding the large button for 3s, then double pressing the smaller button.Mobile App: You can install their "ASMAX WORLD" app on your phone, which lets you change settings of the Z1 such as music effects, automatic volume adjustment, notification, phone, intercom and music volumes, calling settings, LED settings, etc. via the Bluetooth connection with your phone. It also lets you configure your group chat by adding other intercom units to private group. Very useful!Performance: The speakers sound good and are loud enough to be heard even at highway speeds while wearing earplugs. Music, intercom and phone calls all sounded crisp and clear. My riding partner said they could hear me clearly and the mic did not transmit any wind or engine noise, even when I tried it on my loud 2-stroke dirt bike. The range is excellent, even at around 1km apart, we could still communicate.Voice control: This is a game changer and makes the headset so much easier to use. On my previous headset, it was very difficult to operate using it small buttons, especially while wearing gloves and riding. With voice control, you can do just about everything you need without taking your hands off the handlebars to fumble with buttons. You can simply say "Hi Max" followed by any of the commands. Commands include: volume up, volume down, music on / music off / previous track / next track / group mesh / group mode / free mode / end intercom / answer phone / hang up phone. The unit provides feedback in a female voice over the speakers and is clear and easy to understand.Overall very impressed with the ASMAX Z1. It's high quality and does everything I need a motorcycle headset to do. The voice control and app are extremely useful, and I don't think I could go back to using headsets without these features.

I'm blown away by the performance and functionality of these headsets. You get two in a pack and the quality of them is absolutely fantastic. The range is really good and the sound quality is perfect so far. I've enjoyed a lot of riding with these and no issues.

I was quite impressed with the fit and finish of the Z1, it has a sleek modern design with easy to operate buttons for ease of use. That is when you need to use them, the Z1 comes equipped with a personal assistant that can perform many tasks saving you from having to take your hands off the handlebars. It also has dual 5.3 Bluetooth chips to facilitate easy connections. The speakers are loud and clear and you get a choice of mics to suit your style of helmet. You can even change the LED colour to suit your preference. When I finally got a chance to use it for what it’s built for besides rocking out to tunes in traffic, I found the Z1 performed like all other intercom systems, I haven’t had a chance to test the distance on the open highway yet; but like all others it performs very well when outside interference isn’t making it difficult. Because let’s be honest outside of line of sight no system does everything it claims to do in an urban environment. My reason for purchasing the Z1 was its design, use of the most current circuitry and its mode of mounting to its helmet cradle. Why buy an intercom that is using older circuitry and the same old common way of mounting across the competition. I can say with confidence that purchasing the Z1 by ASMAX is a solid investment and as long as you understand that any intercom is only going to do what the environment you’re using it in will allow.
