I tested this out in the garage and it put out a whole lot of really cool air. This could easily cool a small apartment. Now I just have to decide what window that I want to put it into. I love this thing and I love the concept of hanging over a ledge. The remote is easy to use and not fussy. This is awesome.

Haven’t had the chance to run it yet, but just from unboxing and getting it set up, this thing feels like a tank—in a good way. It’s way heavier than the smaller window unit I’ve been using, which gives me hope that it’s built to last. I really like the U-shaped design too; the way it dips down makes more sense for stability and makes installation a bit easier with the window fitting.Looking forward to seeing how it performs once the heat kicks in. If it cools as solidly as it looks, it’ll definitely be a worthwhile upgrade. So far, the build quality and thoughtful design have left a good first impression.

I converted half of my 2-car garage into an electronics workshop and now that the hot months in Florida have arrived, I was burning up working out here. Not anymore! When I happed across this window AC I went for it and so happy I did! As you can see from the pictures I did something unique with this unit. Originally I was going to place it in the window sill but the type of window out here is a roll up type, so the unit wouldn't fit through the space of the glass. It cooled my entire two car garage down from 88 degrees down to 68 degrees in less than 30 minutes, so I really wanted to keep this! So what I did was cut a hole in the side door of the garage to make room for it to fit through, and on the outside balanced the rear of it with a painted 2X4. This method worked out great! Today I have a stick on trim kit to clean up the look and I will place the plug on the outside for a much cleaner look. The remote with digital display is such a nice option and easy to understand. You just won't believe the amount of ice cold air this thing shoots out. I have a huge garage and it keeps the whole thing nice and cool, maintaining at 68 degrees! I really can't recommend this enough. Now I never want to leave my shop!

Very cool design that keeps your windows in. However it’s for a very small bedroom and doesn’t get it very cool. For the price I was expecting to not turn it on its coldest setting and highest fan setting and still not use a blanket.
