I wouldn't usually use a seam guide but I wanted to get into quilting and that needs to be more exact than my usual work. This helps me keep the seam allowance the same throughout and allows me to sew much quicker.

A heavy duty magnet, atached strongly to the metal part of the sewing machine, and keep the fabric in line for a straight even stitch. It made my stitching much more accurate and faster. I highly recomend this product.

I was excited by the idea of this heavy seam guide and was looking forward to using it on a project. Unfortunately, the interior of the guide is filled with a heavy rubber matrix that smells like it came straight from recycled tires. I am allergic to latex and related rubbers. I had an allergic reaction upon opening the box that the guide came in and have been unable to use the guide. Buyer beware on this one!
