Smooth casting reel with incredibly fast retrieve for a casting reel. Somewhat expensive but outperforms any other casting reel I have used. Retrieval speed equals that of the spinning reels I have.

This reel will bomb lures a mile!!! After years of Baitcaster fishing, timing the right release point for spincast fishing takes a second. The reel is very sturdy, it feels like quality in the hand. It has a fast retrieval as advertised. After first use I am contemplating selling my Shimano baitcasters and switching to the Bullet exclusively. Outside of the reel’s performance, this reel has a coolness factor. Having a spincast that will perform equally as well as a $250 baitcaster is really awesome!!! I will be buying another soon!!!! Great job Zebco! Keep the innovations coming!!!

I bought two of these reels based on the promotional material. They are nice but do not out perform less expensive reels. I am quite disappointed.

This reel is the best spincast I have ever used. It is comparable to a bait caster without the backlash. I originally bought this for my wife, but after trying it I purchased another one for myself. The casting is super smooth and casts extremely far. Reeling in is incredibly smooth as well. The almost 30 inch per turn is great for lures, and is truly consistent. We dropped the line down 30 inches from the tip of the pole and tested it several times. One turn of the handle brought it to the tip of the pole every time. The drag is really nice as well. It has what I call a click drag, so every click of the drag wheel either tightens or loosens the drag which is very nice. The only negative thing I could say is its a little heavy, but once we put it on a pole it seemed to balance out the weight, so its not that bad. I highly recommend this reel.

Great reel, solid feel and the drag is very nice. Smooth casting as well. Be forewarned though, the included line is junk….absolutely garbage. I used the reel on one fishing trip and learned the hard way the 10lb test included was junk. After switching out the line with a nicer line i was extremely happy using it from then on. Best spincaster I’ve ever owned.

this reel worked well for a few weeks and thereafter completely failed. the mechanism does not release the line at all now and it has become useless to me. i cant find a place to get in touch with the seller which i would do if i knew how! dont recommend it at all. cheap and nasty not what i expected at all after reading about it.

I went through all the reviews before I purchased this reel and it really is a nice product - very smooth. However, I paid $100 for a Zebco reel and there is absolutely no documentation, user manual, maintenance instructions etc. Nothing for instance on how to lube it, change the spool "cartridge" or anything else. Pretty lame when you pay $100.

Top of the line Zebco spin casting reel products with smooth casting and reeling operations. Comes pre-spooled and is best in class in line retrieval. Has many features for good value but with all the features, it,s on the heavy side of all reels. I still like using it a lot.
