The Zenna curved shower rod is a good product that comes with clear instructions and options for installation. We used the tension option for installing and it worked well. We also have the added ability to rest the rod on top of the pre-fab shower wall. It does require two people at the final step of hanging it. The metal material is good quality and seems to be durable. It looks great in the bathroom and does provide that extra few inches of elbow space. I am glad we got this and would recommend it. We just need to take off all of the sticky lables (LOL).

Easy to install. Love the extra room in the tub/shower.This product was a replacement for old rod. Curtain slides effortlessly on the rod. Doesn’t get stuck on seam. Highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t want to put holes in their walls.

So I’ve had the standard shower rod pretty much all my life and I’ve always wanted a curved rod because of the fact that I’m just not a fan of being in the shower and having the curtain sometimes slap onto your body when you’re trying to get yourself all nice and clean. You can be a real annoying at times, especially if you have a fan inside the shower that is blowing the curtain around a bit. And honestly, sometimes I do clip a fan into there because when it’s a really hot day and you still have to take a warm shower it’s nice to have a little breeze.I like that this kept the curtain kind of pulled away on the top from the actual tub. I think that by doing that it kind of keeps it that direction and it doesn’t stick onto as much as the other does, plus it gives you more room to shower because it’s pulling it a little bit away from you and I really do like that. This rod is sturdy and I feel it’s just a secure as any of the rods I’ve had in the past so I would have no problem. Recommending this to somebody who is looking for this style of shower curtain rod.

There are so many positives about this item and just this one tiny negative thing -- which doesn't affect my rating -- but I feel like it needs to be noted. If you live by yourself and are strongly independent, know that you will need another person to help install this shower rod with you. It makes sense because of its construction (which makes it more durable and less flimsy). If you are good at MacGyvering things, you may be able to do it yourself. But it'd be easier with another human.Let's get on to all of the good bits about this product. The materials and finish are very nice. It's a lovely brushed chrome with an even-finish and feels more expensive than it actually was.As an ADD adult, I love-love-love that the instructions are in the included packet AS WELL AS stuck on the parts themselves. They found a way to dummy-proof it and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. I often do jobs like this with a hefty glass of wine because otherwise my ability to pick up the instructions and then completely lose them in the 2 seconds I've held them can be infuriating. Wine helps chill that out. The care, thought and package planning is above and beyond what I was expecting.Having read the reviews before starting the project, I was ready to be extremely frustrated with the instructions. Maybe because I was expecting the worst - they just didn't seem that bad. There are 6 parts: 2 rods (that connect in the middle), 2 rod mounts and two brackets. There's a very small bag of bits if you want to mount it permanently instead of using the tension option. You just need to pay attention to the stickers on the parts and make sure they line up the same way (A = A, not A = "Upside Down A").All that being said, it's not as easy as a normal tension rod where you just pop it up and turn something til it doesn't move anymore. It has the option to actually screw into the wall (which is nice!) It is a bit complicated to install - not hard, just awkward because of the size and trying to get everything level - even if you go the tension route, you need to be able to set the length and also tighten the set screws in the center while keeping it level.Overall I'm very pleased with this shower rod. I've been wanting one of these for a while and like that it's less expensive than one that is not adjustable. It makes the shower feel so much roomier.

A pain in the butt to install using the tension rod method. Definitely required 2 people. Works great once installed. My teenagers love the extra space in the shower.
