It will wear down the grip strength if used with heavier shower curtains. Works best with lighter in weight shower curtains. I bought this in August of 2023 and this budget friendly product really does it job.I was skeptical about the length and the brand name but I really was desperate for a shower curtain rod, so I bought it and installed immediately after it arrived.The length is perfect and it accommodates the length I need for a small bathroom that needs a shower rod.I would give it a perfect 5 if this was a higher quality rod since it is now showing signs of rust after long care and use. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a cheap rod to put on their bathrooms.Keep in mind of using lighter curtains. If it is a heavy curtain the chances of falling is very high.

Rod kept falling down and had a lot of trouble with tightening it. Rod has a spiral piece inside that turns to tighten, kept getting jammed and the plastic piece around it stuck. Tossed it in the trash after 2 months of frustration.

This shower rod has really transformed the way my bathroom looks. I love the black finish and it looks great with the dark accent. Paired with a nice shower curtain , it’s very classy. No rust and very durable. Has different lengths depending on the size you need. Very easy to install.
