I love this teapot. It eliminates the need for a separate steeper or somewhere to set that steeper down once you take the tea out. You let the water sit with the leaves for as long as you need, and just twist the lid when you’re ready to drain the tea out! It’s especially nice when I want to steep that same tea one or two more times, since all I need to do is pour in some more hot water. On top of all that, it’s very pleasing to look at.

The ZENS Magnetic Teapot is hands-down one of the most beautiful and thoughtfully designed tea accessories I’ve ever owned. From the moment I unboxed it, I knew it was something special. The magnetic suction lid is pure genius—brewing loose leaf tea has never been cleaner or more precise. A simple twist of the lid aligns everything and lets the tea drip seamlessly into the pot—mess-free and fun to watch! The walnut wood handle and lid add a touch of rustic elegance, and the ergonomic design makes pouring effortless and comfortable. It looks like a piece of art on my counter, but it’s also incredibly functional. The strainer is high-quality and does an amazing job keeping out loose tea bits while letting all the flavor through. I love that I can control the steep time so precisely—it really elevates the whole tea-drinking experience. The borosilicate glass feels durable and strong, and the spout pours without a single drip. It's a great size for sharing tea with a friend or enjoying a few cups solo. And the packaging is so refined—it’s absolutely gift-worthy.If you're a tea lover or shopping for one, this teapot is a total win. It blends form, function, and just a little bit of magic. Highly recommend!

First off, this thing is classy as all get-out, from its overall form/appearance to its real-walnut wood handle. "Fun to look at" isn't reason enough to buy it, but it is fun to look at!Second, the fact that it is made of borosilicate glass is very cool. If you haven't researched it, do so. Many of us are trying to get away from plastics for various health reasons, but the challenge with glass is it's typically highly fragile, especially with sudden temperature changes. But borosilicate glass is quite different. I already own a set of borosilicate glass mugs, which share the same property — the ability to put freshly boiled water into it without cracking the glass. Highly functional and very lightweight.A couple of other thoughts that are not necessarily negatives but just FYI:1. From the photos, I got the impression that it would be larger than it is. This is perfect for a single cup or mug of tea, and no more. No big deal, just FYI.2. I love good form, as long as it doesn't come at the expense of good function. This one is sort of right on the line of being form over function — but only on the line. I'm speaking specifically of the line on the lid, the place where you are supposed to turn it to a particular position after steeping the tea so it releases the tea water into the base. There are no words or visuals that clearly indicate if that's the position it is supposed to be when you put the lid on (it isn't) or if it's the position you're supposed to put the lid to when it's done steeping (which it is). I'm not counting off for this, however, since once you've made the mistake once, it's easy to remember the right way to do it the next time and every time after that.

I'm an avid tea drinker and always like new ways to brew that avoid plastic and other potentially toxic/harmful materials. This is what caught my attention about the glass and steel design of Zens teapot. I was also curious about the separate brew chamber and magnetic control of the release of the tea. It's a unique idea but ends up falling short in execution. I really wanted to love it but it doesn't really fit a need for me. If not for the pros below, it would be a 1 or 2 star rating. Here's why...Pros- High quality materials and build quality.- Nice design and aesthetic (but functional shortcomings)- Magnetic release works greatCons- Biggest problem is that the capacity of the infusion chamber is way too small for the size of the pot. At best, you get one cup of tea (6-7oz) which really renders the entire device redundant as you could just brew with a metal mesh strainer basket into your tea cup- Strainer mesh is really only suitable for loose leaf teas that don't have many fine particles as it's not a fine mesh that most modern, high-quality stainless steel strainers have- Very challenging to clean as you cannot remove the strainer mesh from the infusion chamberIf they address the issues with this version and make a 2.0 version that has a greater brewing capacity + can be taken apart for cleaning, I will be in.Not recommended unless you really like the aesthetic and don't have another way to brew tea

The magnetic tea pot arrived extremely well packaged in a gorgeous box and very well protected. Perfect delivery!Upon unboxing, it looks elegant! Absolutely beautiful in its design and functionality! The lid is a unique tool in itself. The little logo is actually a magnet. Once you place your loose leaf tee in the chamber, and pour the water, it will hold for steeping. Place the lid on and align it with the pin, and it raises the pin allowing the steeped tea to drain into the lower pot.Made from walnut wood and borosilicate glass, it’s extremely durable and a pleasure to handle. Perfect for two cups of tea or as many of us know, you can brew many teas twice allowing for more tea. It has a capacity of 800ml or 27 fl oz for us in the USA. The steeping chamber is also made from borosilicate glass with a rubber seal so it fits perfectly. It holds heat well and to watch it brew is almost magical. To clean, simply remove the lid, discard the tea and wash with soapy water. It doesn’t say it’s not dishwasher safe, but I wouldn’t. Plus it’s too nice to not hand wash. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves tea!
