Was not packaged well in its original box, two bag style of the little bubble wrap. The outer shipping box was pristine. There would be no way to use this on any kind of hot plate or stovetop anyways, the glass is too thin.

Great little teapot for one person! Although the 28 oz size is definitely large enough for two cups, if you’re serving a guest. The borosilicate glass is really nice, it’s clear and free of defects, and the microperforated strainer included is PERFECT!!! It’s easy to clean, and more importantly, the holes are so small, none of the loose tea leaves are able to escape into the pot. My previous setup was a glass cup with matching lid and glass infuser- and I found myself with a cup full of leaves every time.My only negative comments- first, while stainless, the lid could definitely be a little bit heavier weight. It’s VERY thin. Still, its only job is to help trap steam while your tea is brewing, so I can’t take a star for that. Second, the packaging is NOT great on this pot- not well wrapped, very flimsy cardboard box. But I’ve gotten this and a second for a gift for someone - and they both arrived in perfect condition, so I can’t dock star for that either. I think this little pot is great, definitely recommend.

When it arrived, the box was in pretty rough condition, which made me worry a little about the glass tea pot inside. Especially because the image on the box looks nothing like the thing I ordered, it's clearly a completely different tea pot, which is pretty confusing. But, when I opened it, the tea pot inside the box matched the listing, it's just the image on the box that's completely different for some reason, and it was in good shape, no breaks or anything. The size is pretty great, it's definitely big enough to brew a full round of tea for myself, my partner, and any number of guests we're likely to have (1-3, we're never having a party with 8 or 9 people ever), so that's a big win for us. And because the glass is so thin, the tea cools fairly quickly, which probably isn't a benefit for other people but it's perfect for us. And when we're done, if there's still tea left, we can just stick it in the fridge.Pretty great!

I ordered this teapot for my wife. My wife is British and a lifetime drinker of tea. This arrived in its own product box which was a little tattered. She was expecting this teapot to be a little bigger but the size is acceptable to make a big enough cup of tea. She took a photo of a medium tea mug sitting next to the teapot to give you an idea of the size. She mainly drinks black tea. The glass feels okay although she is not confident that this would be safe on a stove top. She said she will just boil the water separately and pour this into the teapot and infuse the loose tea. The glass is not thin but it just doesn't feel that thick. The lid had abrasions on it which was a little disappointing. The infuser looks like it will work although its not the best. She does like the fact that she can get her hand into the teapot to clean it as tea does have a tendency to stain. The handle is wide enough to get a nice comfortable grip and the end of the spout feels nice and smooth. My wife is skeptical on how tough this glass is even though the listing states that this teapot can go in the microwave, dishwasher and on the stove top. She is very disappointed in the quality of this pot as this would have made a lovely gift. After all her comments she feels it is only fair to give this a 3 star rating but she does think the price is reasonable.

The teapot is a good buy for the price. The glass pot is decent quality and is nice to look at with the tea in it. It is easy to clean and not fragile. The lip on the sprout does trip a little when pouring so it tends to make a small mess if not careful. The metal parts are not clean out of box, they have metal shavings on so give it a good wash before use. They feel thin but aren’t sharp and the diffuser is good quality. The lid won’t brake which is a huge plus for me, I tend to break the tops of tea pots more often than the pot itself. The handle is comfortable, large, doesn’t get warm, and is far enough away from the body to not burn your hand. The diffuser size easily allows for editions to the tea, plenty large for the pod volume. Overall, it’s well worth the price.Edit: After some weeks of use, this pot has become my go if I’m making team just for myself or two people. It’s very easy to clean. The body is thin so it doesn’t hold heat long but I just wrap a tea towel around it. Adjusting rating to five stars.

We just love this. It's gorgeous and very functional. It's very easy to clean, and all the parts fit together perfectly. The borosilicate glass can withstand high heat. Overall, this is a very nice tea kettle, and for the price, it's a home run. This item is very giftable. It includes everything you need to steep your loose-leaf tea perfectly, and the size is ideal for two people.

Cute, small and does the job. I really like the teapot, and the center steeping column is a great idea. I will say that you have to put the tea/tea bag all the way to the bottom to get it to actually get the flavor, as the water level can’t go up too much, because the spout will get filled to close to the top, so just be aware. This teapot is easy to clean, and easy to use, which are the only things I really was looking for.

I love drinking tea in the morning and this pot is the perfect size for the amount I would want to drink throughout the day. My normal loose leaf tea brewing cup does well, but you're limited to the size of cup you can use with it. This pot on the other hand allows for probably 3-4 cups with the same amount to tea leaves. The tea pot is easy to clean. The glass feels like it's good quality isn't going to break on me. Only complaint with the design is you can't use the lid without the strainer inserted. Some teas you don't want to have keep steeping so you would pull the strainer out, but you can't put the lid once you do that, so it's wide open on the top then. Not ideal, but the pot is still really worth it.
