Great chair, couldn’t be too mad when it finally broke after 4 years. Just ordered another

I love this chair. For $50 (or whatever it was) I have a comfy recliner. BUT, out of the box, it wasn't that comfortable. There is one continuous piece of fabric from the bottom (foot area) to the top (head area). Where the back and the seat meet the fabric protrudes too much and your butt can't sink in. So, if you slice the fabric (up to but not including the seams --which are needed for overall integrity) at the juncture where your butt will go, it is a LOT more comfortable. I had to stick a rolled up towel into that area to bolster it a bit, and also, I rolled a towel around the head cushion (which was too thin for my agronomical situation). With those changes, the chair is great. The locks works very well.

It seems whether you pay $39 like I did for this chair or $100, these chairs are all pretty much the same. This one says it is rated for 250 lbs but looks identical to one I paid $50 rated at 350 lbs. The major difference in most of these is the locking mechanism - the $39 has two knobs to turn that really don't secure the chair well. I can easily balance the chair so it really doesn't matter for me but the $50 chair has two "pull tabs" that actually do lock the chair and a handy but cheap cup and cell phone holder tray. I keep both chairs out of the elements in the pool shed when not in use and they have yet to rust. If you leave them out, they will definitely rust. Comfortable chair but durability looks suspect. We'll see but wouldn't be surprised if they break after one or two seasons but for now serving their purpose.

so, as part of making a cheap gaming chair for Elite: Dangerous, I got this, two fluffy velcro-on arm pads, and two $25 mouse-pad desk-extensions to hold the TFlight One throttle and stick. so, for under $100, replicated what costs upwards of $300. This is very comfortable... too comfortable, as I've fallen asleep in the middle of Elite while in SuperCruise Assist mode, barely waking up in time to stop the ship from slamming into the station. It's easy to fold away when not in use, meaning I can set this up at night when the rest of the family are asleep. Doesn't take up much room folded. Light enough as well. Some mention rusting, but since I'm using this indoor only, a non-issue.The kids discovered the chair the other day so now they want it set up for watching TV (or napping in front of the TV) as well. Might need to grab a couple more now. :)

I'm 6'2" and 210 pounds, 220, ok I'm probably 245. It is quite balanced meaning I haven't had to use the locks from 0 to halfway or when it's fully extended. Between halfway and full extended you can get some drift if you don't lock it down. I read some others were getting rust on their chair after just a day. But I've had mine for about 4 days and have an outside portable swamp cooler about 3 feet away pointed directly at it and myself. So while I do live in the dry southwest, there's a good amount of humidity pointed at the chair and I see no rust at all. Someone else said that when fully extended they actually fell back onto the ground. I had mine fully extended and tried to rock backwards and couldn't get it to tip. I mean if I REALLY tried I'm sure I could. Someone else said their head hits the bar (I think they were 6' 2") and while the top of the bar would press against the top of my head, the chair comes with a headrest that can be positioned anywhere you want and it works great - so no problem there. someone else said the bar at the bottom digs into their ankles. Well yes, taller people will have their ankles laying on the bar...I do have to give that much. I've been using the bar as a foot rest because of this. Also if you spread your legs so that the sides of your calves rest on the side bars, you don't get the sense of that "ankle dig". But at some point I'll probably put some padding around the bottom bar if I ever want to use it to rest my ankles on directly. Someone else said the material doesn't breathe and you get hot in it. I don't quite understand that. It's your regular meshy material. It's gotten up to 95 degrees outside where I live and I've been just fine. Well I do have that swamp cooler pointed directly at me. I'm on this chair around 4 hours a day.

I liked this chair. I bought it to replace a plastic one I used in place of a desk chair. It broke and I'm only 180 pounds and it was inside ONLY and I didn't hop out on it or smash it or anything. It was a POS.I figured it inclined back and went back to upright, so it would work as a recliner for cheap and not take up too much space. It works GREAT for the price. It's soft but I don't have to worry about spilling liquid on it and soaking in. So it's very good, and cheap (Under $40 before tax, free Prime shipping) for what I use it for. I don't have to buy a $100 or $150 non-reclining desk chair. If you are really using it outside and the sun, rain, temperature changes I don't see t lasting 2 years even if you bring it in through the cold weather. But for under $50 it's a pretty good soft chair with no cushions to worry about getting wet. It'd be a three star outdoor chair.
