This foot is not only for zigzag sewing, but the black knob on the side of the foot enables you to go over “bumps” in your sewing like flat felled seams or thick seams, or sewing on heavy fabric…glides right through

Like having an extra one in case the plastic on foot breaks. Didn't like the fact that it went to someone else. Person did send it to us but no name to try to reimburse shipping cost.
