Had the Jandy LXI heater checked and they said it's the Surface Ignition Control. Just replaced it on June 8th, 2020 and used it infrequently through August 2020. I went to start the heater as of today, 6/5/2021 and the same issues again. Unfortunately, this is an expensive part to keep replacing.

I was looking at paying $1800 to repair my pool heater. It looked like a simple repair and so I looked the item up and bought this. Took about an hour and a half and my pool heater was fixed and I saved myself $1000. I also bought a pool heater fan with this on amazon and was ecstatic to be able to be my own repair man. Its been about a year since I put this on and its still going strong just like new. Top of the line product.
