Besides the fact that it took an entire month to get to my door, this budget back tension release was missing the metal D loop. Not a big deal as I would not have used it, but it says something about the company. The release itself looks good with a nice finish and nicely rounded finger grooves. It fits my hand perfectly. The trigger has an audible metal on metal sound to it and isn't at all smooth to actuate. A drop of oil helped a little. The caliper jaws did not have any burs and to my eye didn't seem like it would cause any excessive wear to a D loop. After several shots I found the release to be comfortable and predictable. Not bad for a $40 release. Overall, this back tension release is worth the money. But the shipping time is unacceptable as well as the missing item. I ordered other archery gear at the same time, from China, and all were received within 10 days. Similar releases, if not the same release, are available from other vendors. I would avoid this vendor and choose another, hopefully with speedier shipping and no missing items.

The quick release bow string loop attachment pieces don’t go together correctly and screws are too small. The actual quick release is good quality.

I wanted to have a backup. This is good enough to work if I'm desperate. It's cheap and very lightweight so it fit the bill for my archery hunting if I loose my expensive release in the field.

Grip releases give you more drawing strength than wrist releases cuz your using all your muscles in your arm when you make a fist, plus you are gaining draw length (All from my experience). Anyways, This item works good so far. Its a springy tension release like everything else right now, not smooth like older type releases, but it works. My fingers do hurt after awhile, wish it was rubber coated, that would help with the pain. Comes with a metal d loop as well. Great value.

This is a comfortable trigger grip that feels completely natural in my hand, grips the bow string well, and releases cleanly and easily when I nudge the trigger. Rotates at all angles smoothly, so as I grab the string with my palm facing me and draw, my hand rotates so the back of my knuckles are to my cheek, and the mechanism moves with me beautifully.Comes with a few adjustment wrenches to fine-tune anything you want to adjust, but to my delight it arrived pretty much perfect for how I wanted to use it, no adjustments needed.Great value for this piece, I'm very happy to add it to my bow bag!
