The pieces and parts of this gate opener all seem to be made pretty well. I like that there are multiple power options, and that everything needed to get it up and running on solar power is included. The linear actuators are nice and strong as well.There are a few things I would change, though, if it were me designing it. For one, the solar charge controller is a PWM variety, and the batteries are SLA (sealed lead acid). The system would be much better if it included an MPPT solar charge controller (they aren't THAT much more expensive) and LiFePO4 batteries.Luckily, it's all "modular", so you can change out the batteries and charge controller to something a bit better if you like, and that's what I plan to do. LiFePO4 batteries would be a lot cheaper to ship as well, seeing as they weigh about 1/3 as much as their SLA counterparts.So, the system itself is all pretty good, and luckily you can swap out bits here and there at will, so based on that I give it a thumbs up recommendation and 4 stars.As a side note, their installation videos are pretty helpful, but gee, we sure could do without the blaring (and completely unnecessary) music that accompanies them. Hint, hint.

I got this for our cattle gates, so we can drive the tractor in and feed, and close the gates behind us without having to get out of the tractor. It works very well, I can drive in now, and keep the tractor in the way so the cattle cant walk out , until the gates are closed. It wasnt very hard to install, and the remotes work perfectly.

The gate to my side driveway is 12 feet wide and 7 feet tall made of aluminum, and this gate opener operates the gate with no problems, and was easy to install. However, I didn't have an app before this, and I must say that the app is a game changer, as it allows me to control the gate remotely.I believe that any do-it-yourself type of person can install their own automatic remote-control gate for their driveway. All you need is a proper gate and this automatic gate opening kit and you will have your own automatic gate set up in no time. And with this kit, you'll have a commercial grade setup that will last.

So far this kit has been amazing. It is a lot simpler to setup and install than my old gate opener that was equally as expensive for just 1 opener and lacked a lot of the features you get from this one.This kit actually comes with two batteries, which my original came with zero. It has the solar panels to keep your batteries charged for those applications that are too far from a power source. You get all of the necessary brackets to set everything up with. One of my favorite things about this as opposed to my old kit is that I can work it from my cellphone if i do not have a remote with me. There are also available keypads that you can purchase separately that can be setup for delivery access.
