I still haven’t seen how it holds up to an afternoon of digging, so I’ll leave my first impression.The overall construction is solid, but I noticed the T handle was loose. Upon closer inspection, the metal part keeping the T on was loose. Nothing some wood glue can’t fix, and I suspect it is shipping damage.Edit:After an hour and a half of digging, the handle snapped. I am extremely disappointed. Although I did do some minor modifications, namely sharpening the head, it should not have affected the handle. Admittedly, in the past I have broken shovel handles because I use them to chop into dirt, but I expected more from a brand new, $50 shovel. This is fine to use as a prop, but not functional.
