I bought this Schwaben 011885SCH01A Fluid Extractor (6.5 Liter) to make oil changes much easier. My son has one and after using his it was a must have. It makes automotive oil changes quick and convenient even in winter. Should work well for lawn equipment too. I was skeptical at first, but my son had used his twice and followed up by removing the drain plug to make sure it got all the old oil - it did.

I am extremely impressed with this tool. I’ve used it to change the oil on our 2009 VW EOS, my 2016 Audi S4, and my wife’s 2017 A7. Super easy to use – pulls out almost* all of the oil (S4A7 hold 6.7 Litres, this pulls a bit over 6.5) Also very easy to drainpour into bottles for oil disposal (no mess).Caveat for using it – the cars I use it on have oil filters on TOP of the engine. I don’t bother using this on my truck since the oil filter is underneath the engine anyway.If your car has an oil filter on TOP – there is no reason to NOT use this. Buying oilfilter from any online source will save you $100 vs taking it to a garagedealership for a simple oil change. (Plenty of youtube videos for your specific car! do it yourself! Save money!)

I've only used this product once, but it worked just fine, the hose connections seem sturdy, and it did a better job of getting all the oil out of the engine than taking off the drain plug, surprisingly enough. My 2 Subarus have the oil filter right on top, so with this unit, no more need to get under the car at all.

This extractor works great, and really makes an oil change a simple job. I used it on my Audi A4, and was done in about 10 minutes. I spent more time resetting the SRI in the car. Clean up was easy, you'll want to let the hoses drain the remaining oil into a pan. It seems to be made well, hopefully it will last a long time. This would get 5 stars if it had a place to store the hoses. I guess I'll keep the box it came in for that.
