This thing sucks! In a good way 😂 This evacuator is excellent. Doesn't leak, easily removes oil from my suv. It's a good sizeable holds a decent amount of oil! Overall great value for the $$$

Excelente.

This left literally zero oil behind, it extracted over 6L of oil when the engine holds 5.7L and the filled oil was clean after the first 1000km showing there was no old dirty oil left behind. Easily gets 5 stars, it took less than 2 minutes to extract 6L of oil. Highly recommended

transmission fluid drain on a 2001 Mercury Sable. Warmed up the fluid by driving the car around the block. The tool is very easy to use it drew the fluid out of the pan in about 5 minutes (I did not time it this was just a guess it seemed very fast). I removed approximately 6 qts in that time. I only had to pump it a few times to get the fluid flowing, and then just a few more times while it was working, but i'm sure i did not have to the second time, fluid was still flowing but you just feel like your not doing anything so why not give it a few pumps. I then waited about ten minutes for things to drain down in the pan inside and pumped it a few more times and probably removed another half qt. that made the mess of dropping the pan to change the filter so nice, there was about a cup of fluid left in the pan when i took it off to change the filter. it was so nice not to dump fluid all over the place. I am super happy with how easy and smooth this worked and highly recommend the first info tools brand of fluid extractor. the construction seems solid, it is heavy plastic, it did not suck in on itself, the tubes did not crush, only took a couple of pumps total, I did not use the compressor to draw a vacuum on it yet because the hand pump works so well. made for a nice no mess time.

I bought this to change transmission fluid in my 2017 F150 10R80 and 2016 Honda Ody 6sp. I changed the transmission fluid in the Ody with 10 drops spilled mostly from refilling. I did not have to break loose the drain plug or fill plug (sticks badly due to friction modifiers). Took me about 2 minutes to evacuate the 3.1qts from the Ody via the dipstick tube. The large hose did not fit, but the middle sized hose fit fine. It did not drain 3.6qts as is would from the drain plug. I shoved the tube in as far as I could get it and let it run till nothing came out. I cannot recommend using this exclusively for Ody Trans Fluid changes. The magnet on the drain plug should be cleaned. If doing the 2nd and 3rd drain and fill should be Ok though. As far as using the unit: The nylon tube is rated via the instructions at 95C which is over 200F. That should be fine for most automotive fluids, but be weary. The extraction tubes have adapters that appear to have a very small amount of glue on them, but one I had to jam back on and another had to be glued with Honda Bond (Honda's oil pan sealant). It could use a better fitting end on the larger tank side tube. The air powered vacuum pump works quite well. My 20 gal compressor kept up and recovered quickly. It has more to do with airflow than pressure or tank size though. The manual pump handle is right in the way of the tube connection/ empty port. The vacuum release button barely works at all. The manual pump seems adequate, but I only played with it a little. It has half liter marking which are hard to see (quickly remedied with a marker). Quart marking would have been more useful. That will take more effort to mark. Given this is a overnight-branded Taiwan made unit I would not count on replacement parts being available for long term.Overall, I would recommend for light duty use. Don't count on getting replacement seals in 5-10 years when the ones in it rot out. Don't mix brake fluid with oil. It is different and must be recycled differently. Therefore I don't recommend the brake bleeding kit unless it is dedicated to that purpose (DOT 3,4,5.1 fluids only or DOT 5 only). It is easy to use, but it is typical low cost tools which tend to be hit or miss. Check it out carefully before you contaminate it with oil and Amazon will not take it back. Mine works OK so I will keep it.Update Apr 2021: The seller changed the pictures for the listing. What you see above is not what I got and reviewed. The pump mechanism is similar, but the body is very different. The nylon tubes can kink easily and prevent flow. The adapters fall off and friction fit back on, but still fall off rather easily. In addition to the above I've used it for oil changes on generators as well. It is still a much less messy method. Beware to catch the dripping tubing. Replacement tubes seem to be available, but we'll see.

Fantastic way to perform oil changes. no mess, easy to dispose of old oil. Best results when used in conjunction with air compressor. Only took 15 minutes to completely drain 6 litres. Once connected , sit back and watch it automaticallydrain oil. Absolutely brilliant.

It works. The built in hand pump is more than adequate. But when using the air line it is quicker. The only thing is dealing with compressor noise. Usually i’m looking around the car when waiting for the oil to be sucked out. So the ability to use a air line is not essential for me. For me, my Mercedes holds 8 qts and that is what I can pour back in. This pump does a thorough job.I will update later to how long this one will last. I had a different brand on my previous pump and it quick working within two years.July 5, 2022: This pump is still running good. It has lasted longer than my first pump I bought. I wished they had put measurement volume numbers on the markings on the this pump.June 2, 2023: It’s still going strong. I even use it with my ‘97 4Runner with the V-6. When the oil first stops extracting I have to move the tube up and down a bit to get all of the oil out. One think that keeping the tube all the way down would do it. With the 4Runner I have pull up the tube slightly to get it all out. Toyota didn’t design the engine like how with my Mercedes I have to keep the tube all the way down. I’ve kept suction on it and pulled the tube up a bit like I do with 4Runner. But with the Mercedes the tube needs to be kept down. I will pour 5.5 qts in the 4Runner which is the fill capacity. So I know I’m getting all the oil out of the 4Runner.
