About this item

  • Durvet's Permethrin 1% is a ready-to-use pour-on insecticide for cattle, sheep and their premises. Kills lice and flies on beef and lactating dairy cattle. Kills keds on sheep.
  • Lactating Dairy Cattle, Non-Lactating Dairy Cattle,Beef Cattle, Calves: Apply ½ fl. oz. (15cc) per 100 lbs. body weight of animal, up to a maximum of 5 fl. oz. for any one animal over a 14 day period.POUR-ON: Pour along back line and down face. BACKRUBBER USE: Mix one pint per gallon #2 diesel or mineral oil. Keep rubbing device charged. Results are improved by daily forced use
  • Sheep: Pour along back line and down face. Apply ¼ fl. oz. (7.5cc) per 50 lbs. body weight of animal, 3 fl. oz. for any one animal over a 14 day period.
  • For use as a ready-to-use spot spray or premise spray: Use undiluted in a mist sprayer. Apply directly to surface to leave a residual insecticide coating, paying particular attention to areas where insects crawl or alight. One gallon will treat approximately 7,300 square feet.


Durvet's Permethrin 1% is a ready-to-use pour-on insecticide for cattle, sheep and their premises. Kills lice and flies on beef and lactating dairy cattle. Kills keds on sheep. (Not for Sale in California) Repeat treatment as needed, but not more than once every two weeks. For optimum insecticide effectiveness against lice, a double treatment at 14 day intervals is recommended. NOTE: This product is not effective for grub control on cattle. Please see label for extensive directions.

This product has. Even excellent for keeping the flys away from my cattle and horses.I highly recommend if you find you have a fly problem with your livestock
