Painted the kitchen ceiling flat white. Previously, the ceiling was off white and the trim rings matched that color. Simple to replace and the color matches the new ceiling.

Looks a million times better than the awful yellowed ones I had, but the listing says these are matte and they are definitely shiny. Already here and a good price so decided to use them anyway, but would have preferred a matte finish.

Although the description says “white”, these are off-white so if your fixtures are white (like those retrofit LED can lights) these rings are going to look awful.

These would not fit around standard 6 inch recessed lights. They WILL work on 5 inch hi hats. They also cannot be returned so it was a waste of money.

I got tired of the old rings that turned yellow and brittle from the heat of lights. These rings are perfect to replace those old trim rings on your 6" recessed lights. So easy to install, not tools, only a ladder. Unscrew the bulb. Reach inside and release the two springs holding the trim can in place. Lower the trim can. Swap the old ring for a new one. Re-attach the springs. Put the bulb back in. Easy Peasey.
