I am about a month in on these. I have injected some more water into the moss twice.I mixed sphagnum moss with a little peat moss and a sprinkle of fine vermiculite.I don't know if that makes it worse but I'm not happy doing anything unless I'm putting my own stank on it.If I get results, I will buy 20 of the small clear ones and paint one side of them myself (first black to keep out light, then white to reflect heat)If they don't work, I will chop a roll of Saran Wrap in half and wrap them up like a mummy.I think that might be the best, the moisture can't escape.

I like the idea that one side is clear so you can see if any roots have developed. They have a funnel design at the to that you could add water if they dry out. The zip ties that came with the order were too thick to use. I had to buy VERY THIN wire to use instead of the zip ties. Disappointed that I had to spend extra time and money to make them work.
