The adapter rings allow one filter to be used on many lens. Different lens use different size filters. Sometimes you will need multiple adapter rings to make a filter work properly. These are well made and have a good tight fit.

For the Eclipse on 04.08.2024, I bought an ND filter larger in diameter than my lens required because it would be delivered in time. These filter adapters easily allowed me to use the oversize filter. Now I can use any size filter in any of the lens I have.

Step up/down rings make it so much easier to change out filters on different lenses, and these fit great. Threading is smooth and attaches easily, removing is the same.I always hope sets will have the 43-49mm/49-43mm size...but that hasn't influenced my review (seller - let me know when it's added and I'll buy a few more sets for my different kits!)

Some rings once I connected them together I couldn't disconnect them even with WD-40. However I love the way they can adapt to almost every lens I use them on numerous types. Great productThank you
