Held up well while we were starting seeds. Had a nice amount of trays. Definitely are biodegradable as when it was time to transplant they had become soft. Probably could have used a few trays another round if I chose to. I would recommend a drip tray underneath for easier watering.

Great for starting seeds for Springtime Garden or whenever really great value highly recommend shift right on time but no issues the paint pots disintegrated in my garden so I was able to directly plant them into the soil with no pulling the roots out risking the plants good value

These are nice because they are cheap, however several have had pieces of plastic in them

I just had to transplant 300 onion seedlings because every single one of these trays molded badly as seen in the picture. Conveniently it happened 6 days after the return window closed…not a happy customer that’s for sure. If I could give a 0 instead of a 1 I would.

I tried these first with them all together. For what I am doing, I have found cutting them apart ahead of time is way easier and more convenient. I did not count the labels but it seems I was sent many extras. Exactly the right number pots and so far, all usable.

Buyers should know that these are advertised as 'peat pots'...They aren't.They are pressed paper products, similar to paper mache. Will they work for potting plants? Yes.Are they biodegradeable? Yes. But... peat pots break down in the garden quicker and are a more natural choice. These are likely from recycled paper product, which from original production could include ??? bleached wood fiber? newspaper ink? Printed cardboard??Also, pressed paper does not hold up to soaking in water when they are used in potting trays. This is similar to trying to pick up a soaked napkin with 8 ozs of soaked soil on it. They do fall apart after soaking. If you are a 'window-sill' gardener...this likely isn't an issue. But if you are raising from seed, over 15 crops, over 100 pots per season....This is an annoyance that costs lots of time.Peat pots are truly organic and will add beneficial organic material to a garden...Pressed paper pots, won't.This is actually the second batch of "pressed paper" pots I've received from Amazon, which should confirm product descriptions are 'as advertised'.

I am very happy with these peat pots! I've had my squash in for 14 days, the bok choy a couple days less. I will plant these in the garden in a couple days and they've all held up very well. The bottoms and sides are getting soft but still holding its shape well enough to pick up as/if needed.I see some have complained their pots didn't have holes. Mine did but if you are watering seedlings til they drain through you either need to buy plastic pots or take a class. Then there was the "gardener" who actually needed someone to point out to poke a hole in a pot to begin with! Learn to control your watering or buy plastic pots. I will water my established tomato and chilie plants til they drain though but they are in plastic pots.If you know what to do with these pots they will serve you well. I will buy again.
