The tubing slides into the plastic cap and it locks on to it, to release the tube you pull up top piece on the end of the cap. I did not have any issues with leaks and the plastic caps have rubber gaskets. It fits my fermzilla all rounder. The tubing feels like a soft plastic and it somewhat flexible. The plastic caps look like a quick disconnect would be able to fit on it, however the cap is slightly too big.

5 Stars for my intended non-commercial non-CO2 use.Pros:1. Connectors included: convenient for liquid use with my wort chillers. My homebrew beer setup includes a variety of chillers (spiral copper tubing, plate and glycol chillers) and I'm always looking for convenient connectors and tubing.2. Tubing length: Seller includes an 'honest' 10 foot length of tubing. A welcome difference from other sellers who nickel and dime with short changing promised lengths.3. Tubing quality: Seems very sturdy. Food grade is great if you intend to send beer through the lines.Cons: For Gas purposes, I recommend you purchase this seller's other kits with stainless steel external clamping. Explore the additional options offered on the same Amazon page.I may be a worry wart, but I am not a big fan of push lock connectors for any gas fittings. I'd guess these connectors are usually safe under ideal conditions with lower pressures at the keg gas termination point, but when dealing with CO2, (or natural gas or oxygen) and potential leaks, I like to err on the side of extreme caution in my home. Too much movement around my brewing area and too much opportunity for my mistakes. CO and smoke detectors do NOT detect CO2.Newer home construction is so tight that some states' building codes, like Minnesota, require whole house air exchange pressure tests before installing a range exhaust fan of 300 cfm or more. Which is a relatively small fan.Especially f you're dealing with larger refillable CO2 tanks in your home brewing environment and especially if you're distributing gas simultaneously to a multiple keg and tap system (as many serious home brewers have), again -- you should be very aware that your 'normal' home detectors will NOT alert you to potential dangerous leaks of CO2.Good ventilation is a smart thing, especially in modern homes which are typically 'sealed up tight' for construction code compliance. If you're brewing in your home environment, it's a good idea to regularly check the operation of your modern air exchange system if you have one.Happy brewing!
