Makes adjustments to solid lifters easier than fumbling with a screwdriver and 10mm wrench. Works as advertised and is a good value.

Works great on hondas for valve adjustment. Doesn't fit some of the 3.5s on the rear bank and definitely does not fit subarus. It does work great for 4cyl engines though.

This tool is very sloppy!The screwdriver does not stay centered in the wrench that it runs thru. The screwdriver is only supported at the top of the wrench and nowhere else. When I placed the tool over the nut the screwdriver blade hugged the wall of the wrench instead of lining up in the middle of wrench with the slot of the valve adjustment screw. I wrestled with 3 adjustments and then completed the 13 other valves with a 10 mm wrench and a screwdriver.Its going back.Oh yeah, it came obviously used . I don't mind buying used tools, but I would like to know beforehand.

They say you don't need a dedicated tool, you can theoretically use a regular screwdriver and wrench, but this makes it easier and you can adjust the valve more consistently with precision. Considering the consequences of a bad adjustment, why not use a useful tool, since this doesn't have to be done too often so you might as well get it right on the first go. The components are high quality so it doesn't get much better than this.
