I got this set to install a pole on my patio that required a 12mm bit to install the anchors 3inch deep. I started each hole with the 5mm bit to drill pilot holes, drilling slow, pull out, and vacuum the dust at every 1/2inch also using water to keep the bit wet. I followed each hole with the 12mm bit the same way, and was able to get 3 holes to the proper depth, yet at the 4th hole the bits gave up at 2-1/2" down and the 12mm is destroyed after drilling 11-1/2" total.

Quality is not up to my standard, the brazing is lacking and not as good as a bosch set.Unfortunately I'll always review things honestly and would not buy this again or recommend to others

As a successful renovation business owner, my hubby probably knows everything about drill bits, or as they say, he could fill a book with this knowledge. )))He was using the set over the last couple of months.Considering the price benefit ratio, the bits' durability and performance are fairly good for occasional DIY projects.I doubt that professionals will show any interest in this product.

Tried drilling through a 1/2 thick concrete block and didn’t even get a quarter of the way though and the bit broke, went to another bit the same size and it broke as soon as it hit concrete. These bits didn’t even break through brick before the shank broke. The whole bit from top to bottom is aluminum.

When you start cutting through something as hard as ceramic tile, wet the bit. I can't tell you how many packs of masonry bits I have purchased in the past. They all seem to hold up for a while, all but the super cheapies that is, but don't expect to find a lifetime bit. So, finding a good pack that does the job rather inexpensively is the trick. These do a good job. I'm not expecting them to last super long. I'm going through ceramic tile right now in my bathroom. Wetting them really is helping. There is a warning on the package not to use an impact drill on the 4mm and 5mm bits. (There are 6 of those in the package). Joeric is known for dependable affordability. Some jobs you want to use your expensive bits on, others you need something that is not going to break the bank. These are reasonably priced.
