Insertion Steps:
Step 1: Set the insert nut - Firstly, set the insert nut on the 3D printed plastic part surface.
Step 2: Heat and insert nut - Secondly, use the soldering iron to heat the insert. When the surrounding plastic softens, push the insert down.
Step 3: Let the plastic part cool - As the plastic cools, the plastic becomes hard again and the screw can now be tightened.

What do you really say? They are well made and the threads work as intended. Make sure you buy the tips that will work with your soldering iron to heat them up properly for inserting. They worked for my 3d printed Iron Man helmet.

I used Virtjoule Heat Set Insert Tips and a Weller WE1010NA soldering iron to install these into my 3d printed box lid. This was a PLA box which I printed about 200c. I set the soldering iron to ~220c and that worked pretty well. Too hot and you will melt too much plastic around the insert and end up with a bad set.The inserts have held well and the m3 screws thread nicely into them. Very happy with the purchase.
