A reasonably priced useful addition to the tool bo. Since the advent of battery drill motors my life has changed for the better. Even something as simple as assembling IKEA furniture I drag out the cordless drill and dig out the right sized bit.My impact driver is the first thing I grab when doing almost any household repair. This extension improves the flexibility of those tools. I don’t anticipate the 12” extension will get the most use but when you need it nothing else will do. The outer sleeve can be held to steady the bit and the locking mechanism holding the bit is a pull down sleeve as well as magnetized. I would highly recommend this addition to your tool box, it also comes with an assortment of 12 common drive bits.

Its strong and made of good quality material. Works well. The screw bits locks pretty well. Wish it had flexibility though so you can reach corner areas

This extra-long bit holder comes in a red-and-black glossy cardboard box. It feels sturdy and well-made. The quick-release bit holder operates smoothly, and it has a magnet inside to help the bits hold screws. The outer sleeve that you can hold onto while the inner shaft rotates is great. I don't have an impact drill, but seeing that someone else successfully used it with their impact drill is reassuring about its durability. There are also an assortment of basic bits included, with labels on their holder and on each bit.

There' s a lot of shady labeling things "impact". It boosts sales but is often not true, so I always look for some other evidence of the claim. You can't just go by the black coating as they can put this on any tools. As you can see on the included picture, it is in fact labeled "impact". Also, the bits are of that beefy style that you would expect for impact rated bits. My call: these are indeed impact.The extension has a snap lock connector on the tip that I love. Nothing worse than fighting bits falling out while you're trying to jump from one fastener to the next. Especially, with impact they are much more likely to rattle out during use without the snap lock. The snap lock is the "pull" type instead of the "push" type, if that makes any difference to you. In the past, I have found that the "push" type seems to grip better but I haven't noticed that with this. The grip is "death grip" quality. LOLThe bit selection is pretty much any of the normal stuff you'd need and comes in a nice bit holder.It would have been nice for this set to come with a case to keep everything together since this is impact and you would want to make sure all impact rated stuff stays together so you know. Guess I'll be keeping this in the box it came in, although it's pretty beat up.Excellent impact set. Recommended.

This bit holder looks really nice, and the sleeve makes it easy to hold without heating up your hands. I like that it includes all the bits, but the one I received seems slightly bent or unbalanced. No matter how I adjust it in the drill, it wobbles back and forth while spinning. Not sure if this is a common issue or just a defect in mine, but it definitely affects precision. Other than that if it didn't have this issue it would be a 5-star product for sure!

This is handy for those deep hard to reach screws, quality build with good tight bit retention.
